Yuuki Wakura (
Due to being a male, he could not become an official member of the Demon Corps since men can't receive special powers after consuming Peaches and has instead become the caretaker of the 7th unit, lending his support to his comrades both in and out of combat.
Appearance[]
He is a black-haired, dark brown-eyed young man of average height, with two prominent white hair strands from his center hairline, at his widow's peak. His normal physique started being developed into a more toned one, as an aftereffect of regular training and acting as the 7th Unit's caretaker. On more than one occasion, Yuuki has been described as being either handsome or adorable by multiple women in the Anti-Demon Corps. Tenka used to see his physique as more on the cute side and wanted to be the one to reward him, but as his physique has become more defined, she has found that it makes her crave to be pampered instead.[2]
Although Yuuki is, in fact, human, upon becoming Kyoka's Slave, he started assuming different forms bearing more of a resemblance to a Humanoid Shuki, wearing a collar linked to a chain, whenever her power is activated. Since then, he has assumed different forms based on either Learning and the "Lending" of her Slave depending on the particular woman in question.
His base state, under Kyoka, Yuuki assumes a smooth white-skinned muscular humanoid Shuki with a horned canine-esque face, with various red tribal markings across his back, shoulders, and chest; dressed in a pair of ballooning pants common to samurai, and black leather straps on his wrists.
Personality[]
From the start, Yuuki has shown to be an idealistic, generous, and attentive person, who would assist his friends and allies if either of them is in need. He has issues with the current situation of the world where men are meant to be subservient to women because all of them can attain blessings from eating the peaches from Mato, but at the same time, he continues doing his duties. He has a strong desire to become a Hero and to protect people who are in danger, which has made him more devout to Kyouka, who was able to assist him in doing that, to the point of agreeing to become the 7th Unit's Caretaker.
Since arriving at the 7th Unit, he has been somewhat socially awkward around its members, often never knowing how to interact with any of them because he has not been around many girls before. This results in him getting caught in various complicated situations and he often walks in on them while they are changing. However, he quickly started developing closer relationships with them ranging from camaraderie to friendship, which has made him less awkward around the 7th Unit members during normal situations.
Despite his reservations, Yuuki does love working as a caretaker and housekeeper, in addition to assisting the 7th Unit, which stirred from his being taught such skills by his older sister during his childhood. He is somewhat of a siscon, often stating that he wanted to marry his older sister, Aoba Wakura from childhood, and devoted himself to finding her after she disappeared some time ago.
Underneath his respectful and awkward nature, Yuuki does have latent perverted and lecherous fantasies, which is revealed in the rewards that he receives from Kyoka and his other Masters who use her Slave powers. It seems that Yuuki himself is not aware of his perverted desires, this can best be seen in chapter 7 of the manga, where he and Kyouka are both surprised and disturbed by Yuuki's newfound masochistic fetish.
In his Killer Fang form, Yuuki becomes extremely irrational and bloodthirsty, becoming a monster that only seeks to kill everything that stands in his way, whether friend or foe. Even Kyoka, who is normally stoic and fearless, was scared of this form and even advised canceling it instantly, noting its behavior was not anything like Yuuki. This is possibly due to Ren Yamashiro's more ruthless and inhuman personality, in contrast to the other forms, where the masters have purer wills.
Background[]
Yuuki and Aoba.
Since childhood, Yuuki has grown up with his older sister, Aoba Wakura, who trained him to become a capable man (or someone to serve her in the future). She often referred to this as a video game and awarded Yuuki exceedingly high points whenever he did good jobs. Aoba also punished him whenever he did a bad job often using wrestling moves.
Six years before his sister vanished due to a "Mato Disaster", he had not seen or heard anything from her since. Sometime later, he started to attend Kaminoge High School, a public school where he and the other male students had to clean up the halls before the female students arrived, sometimes tardy.
Powers & Abilities[]
As a male, Yuuki cannot gain unique abilities like women who consumed the Peaches from Mato. Because of this, his older sister ensured and trained him so that he could become a capable man without a Peach blessing (and so that he could act as a capable servant for her). Although Yuuki learned mundane skills which made him an almost perfect caretaker, he also managed to pick up combat skills which aided him in combat. After becoming the Slave of Kyoka Uzen through the 7th Unit Chief's Peach Blessing, more than the previous Shuuki who acted as her Slave, the power that awakened from deep within Yuuki made him the most suitable partner alongside the Chief, capable of defeating numerous Shuki of various sizes in almost a single attack.
Slave Powers[]
Upon becoming Kyoka's Slave, Yuuki gained the ability to transform into a humanoid creature resembling a Shuki, which brought out his latent powers that proved more than capable of defeating Shuki who should be much larger and durable than himself in comparison. Most notably, these powers far exceeded that of the other Shuki which were under the control of the 7th Unit Chief, neither of whom were considered ideal mounts who acted more on instincts rather than actual thought. Another aspect of Kyoka's powers is "Lending" him to others (and Himari, who can replicate Peach Blessings), he could assume different "Slave Forms" depending on who his "Master" is, such as the members of the 7th Unit, Shushu, and Nei, which releases his hidden potential.
Slave Form (
- Great Cross Edge (
豪刃 十 字架 , Gōjin Jūjika, lit. "Great Blade Cross"): A combination move between him and Kyoka, where Yuuki performs a powerful downward knife-hand strike, while she performs a powerful horizontal slash forming a cross-shaped slash that splits a large Shuki apart. - Skyward (
天 , Ten, lit. "Heaven"): An augmented form which Yuuki could assume depending on which Slave Form he assumes, used for the first time with Whirlwind, but has proved capable of using it in his Default form. - Whirlwind (
無窮の鎖 ・旋 風 , Sureibu: Tsumujikaze, lit. "Eternal Chain: Whirlwind"): The Slave Form, which Yuuki entered as Himari Azuma's Slave, specializing in speed rather than offense, thus letting him perform high-speed strikes such as punches and kicks in quick succession.[6][7] Whirlwind also lacks the armor of his Original form, granting it little defense, but also letting him outmaneuver his foes.- Branding (
烙印破 , Rakuin Yabu, lit. "Stigma"): A special Whirlwind technique, where Yuuki takes advantage of his speed, stepping forward then thrusting his fist forward simultaneously, focusing his power at a single point on his opponent, causing great destruction at that point.

無窮の鎖 ・戦 雲 , Sureibu: Ikusa Gumo, lit. "Eternal Chain: War Cloud"): The Slave Form, which Yuuki entered after both Kyoka Uzen and Himari Azuma acted as his Masters at the same time,[8] granting more power and speed than either his Original and Whirlwind Forms, and allowing him to decimate several enemies. This form, however, exhausts him far more than either form and he receives rewards from both Kyoka and Himari.- Howling (
咆哮撃 , Hōkō Geki, lit. "Roar Strike"): This is a special technique, which Yuuki can use in this state, where he releases a destructive laser beam from his mouth, annihilating any Shuki in its path.[9] It was based on the "Branding" technique and the technique he witnessed Aoba Wakura use.

- Sparkling Stars (
無窮の鎖 ・煌星 , Sureibu: Kiraboshi, lit. "Eternal Chain: Glowing Stars"): The Slave Form, which Yuuki entered after Nei Ookawamura acted as his Master,[10] lessening both his offense and speed, but instead raising his senses to an incredible extent making him the perfect scout. Using the same concept as "Branding", he can focus his power on his senses. His sight can improve to the point of seeing through solid objects such as clothing,[11] and his hearing can become potent enough to hear heartbeats.[12] - Boulder Melter (
無窮の鎖 ・岩 融 , Sureibu: Iwa Tōshi, lit. "Eternal Chain: Rock Fusion"): The Slave Form, which Yuuki entered after Shushu Suruga acted as his Master,[13] greatly increasing his offense and defenses based on its bulky form, but his speed is equally significantly decreased. His strength increased, instantly destroying boulders using a single punch. It has been noted that he couldn't use Paradigm Shift. - Phoenix (
無窮の鎖 ・鳳翼 , Sureibu: Hōyoku, lit. "Eternal Chain: Phoenix Wing"): The Slave Form, which Yuuki assumes after Yakumo Ezo acted as his Master,[14] causing him to assume a more winged avian form capable of high-speed flight. - Killer Fang (
無窮の鎖 ・殺 牙 , Sureibu: Koroshi Kiba, lit. "Eternal Chain: Killer Fang"): The Slave Form, which Yuuki entered after Ren Yamashiro acted as his Master.[15] Kyoka stated this was a dangerous form she hadn't seen before. It is powerful enough to allow Yuuki to instantly kill several Shuki in a single strike.[16] Despite its offensive power, he fights in a more berserk manner and would even go against the person riding on top of him.[17] This form can also heal damage and regenerate to a degree.- Sacrificial Goat (
贖 罪 の山羊 , Shokuzai no Yagi, lit. "Atonement Goat"): This is a special technique, where Yuuki causes countless symbols featuring fangs to appear above his intended targets' heads, which causes all their upper bodies to explode as if they'd all been bitten.[18]

無窮の鎖 ・肉 弾 , Sureibu: Niku Hazumi, lit. "Eternal Chain: Meat Bullet): The Slave Form, which Yuuki assumes after Fubuki Azuma, acted as his Master, causing him to assume a burlier and bulkier form, where he has elastic limbs, allowing him to build up more momentum for attacks, and makes him nigh-invulnerable when it comes to blunt attacks. - Roar (
無窮の鎖 ・爆 音 , Sureibu: Bakuon, lit. "Eternal Chain: Explosive Sound): The Slave Form Yuuki assumes after Mira Kamiunten, acted as his Master, assuming the form of a motorcycle with a front that resembles his basic Slave form. It has a high amount of horsepower, moving at high speed in a short time; more so through using the thrusters from its muffler, having enough power to ram through a wide number of Shuki. In this form, Roar produces a sonic boom that Shuki is sensitive to, forcing them out of hiding and breathing flames from its mouth, burning them. - Hagoromo (
無窮の鎖 ・覇 衣 , Sureibu: Hagoromo, lit. "Eternal Slave: Champion's Garment"): The Slave Form, which Yuuki entered after Konomi Tatara acted as his Master,[19] where he takes form as an armored garment bearing some resemblance to a samurai with features similar to Yuuki's base Slave Form and a black unitard underneath it.[20] In this form, both of their powers become combined into this state, making it possible for her to defeat Yumeji Shimomura in her Shuuki state while bolstering her Beast Power. - Hidden Moon (
無窮の鎖 ・月 隠 , Sureibu: Tsukigakure, lit. "Eternal Chain: Hidden Moon"): In this form, Yuuki assumes a smooth and regal appearance, with crescent moon ornaments on the shoulders and a cloak with rose-like designs, his head resembling that of a chameleon's. Using Hidden Moon allows Yuuki and Bell Tsukiyono to turn invisible, however, their presence can still be felt and is exhausting. - Komainu (
無窮の鎖 ・狛 犬 , Sureibu: Komainu, lit. "Eternal Chain: Guardian Dog"): In this form, Yuuki assumes a fully armored and mechanical appearance, with a smooth metallic texture and a long tail. Using Komainu allows Yuuki to produce a barrier that burns shuuki but also comes with offensive capabilities like using his tail as a whip and detaching his fists into a rocket punch. Yuuki notes that this form feels slow and Varavara Pilipenko believes its power is determined by Yuuki's loyalty to Kyouka Uzen.
Physical Abilities[]
Although he doesn't attain enhancements from eating a peach, Yuuki has proven to be a capable combatant after becoming Kyoka's Slave and having his hidden power unlocked. He has also shown to be able to improvise and create different techniques. It was also noted that his physical and mental strength in his normal body has developed a lot due to his continued training in the 7th Unit.
After drinking the droplet of a god from Kusetsu, Yuuki uniquely turned into a vessel for the souls of the Eight Thunder Gods to inhabit in the event of their deaths, having her, Fukuma, and Rairen inside of his Spiritual World. Although the gods cannot influence the outside world, aside from influencing his spiritual world, it is noted that having the three Gods within himself has provided Yuuki benefits different from that of males who are unable to attain Peach Blessings. In a battle against Yamashiro while in his slave form, Yuuki unknowingly drew power from the gods within him and quickly recovered from a powerful attack from Yamashiro.
Master Combatant: Due to the penalties and scuffles with his older sister, he learned a number of her wrestling moves, to the point of it being possible to defend himself from bullies. After becoming Kyoka's Slave, Yuuki soon became more adept in close combat, using various martial art moves as a basis for Branding and short bursts of his power from his limbs in his various Slave Forms such as Whirlwind, in addition to additional training under Kyoka herself.[21]
Enhanced Strength: Yuuki has grown physically stronger after numerous trainings and battles. He restrained Homare without effort when she tried to seduce him.
Enhanced Reflexes: Having trained rigorously, obtaining continued experience from transformations and possibly the Gods residing in his inner world, Yuuki can instantly react and evade an ambush attempt from behind which impressed Maia Azuma.
Enhanced Stamina: Due to the training under the 7th Unit leader, Yuuki has considerable stamina. He was able to keep up with Konomi Tatara on her usual patrol.
Enhanced Senses: Yuuki obtained heightened senses after Kuusetsu resided within him. He could feel that Bell (Fukuma impersonating her) was somehow different, which was proven a key to exposing the Thunder God and preventing her from assassinating everyone. He could also tell the difference in pressure that the real Ren and the impersonating Fukuma (as Ren) gave off.
Healing Factor: Upon Fukuma and Rairen entering his Spiritual World after their defeat, it is noted that his body's healing ability improved, recovering from the wounds caused by their battle against Rairen. Kyoka theorized that it could be the result of all the Lendings via Slave, however, Yuuki thought that the fact that a "God" resides within himself was connected to it.
Other Skills[]
Domestic Training: From childhood, Yuuki has been trained by his older sister, Aoba Wakura, in mundane skills such as efficient housekeeping, cooking exceptional meals, mending clothing, and giving massages.[22][23] This was noted as he took care of all the members of the 7th Unit and tended to the entire base alone perfectly. He can create kinds of tools that assist him in doing so.

- His first name Yu (優) means "Superiority" and ki (希) means "Hope", together meaning "Superior Hope".
- His surname Wa (和) means "Harmony" and kura (倉) means "Warehouse", together means "Harmonious Warehouse".
- His sister states that Yuuki has proposed to her many times when he was a kid.
- He often went for walks along the Tama Rivers with his sister.
- Yuuki seems to have a fetish for masochism, although he has no conscience. This may also imply that he may also have other types of strange and disturbing fetishes that he doesn't know about.
- Technically speaking, Yuuki is the only male member of the corps.
- In Chapter 84, when Yuuki receives his reward from Mira, the scene references a scene from the 1997 movie Titanic, where Rose and Jack had intercourse in a car and a hand slides off a fogged window.
- Both of Yuuki's voice actors, Yuya Hirose and Gabriel Regojo, also share the role of Shun Amagiri from O, Maidens in Your Savage Season.
