Nei Ookawamura (大川村(おおかわむら) 寧(ねい), Ōkawamura Nei) is a member of the 7th Unit, assigned as rear guard specialist in scout ability.

Appearance

Nei is a young girl with bright white skin, long pink hair with a headband, and blue eyes. In important meetings, She is seen wearing a uniform of Anti-Demon Corps along with a red belt and long skirt. In her break and emergency situation, she is seen wearing casual clothes in operation.

Personality

Nei is a kind, hard-working girl who easily gets along with everybody in the 7th unit, including Yuuki during their first meeting. Despite her young age and still attending elementary school, she can often be a voice of reason and displays a higher level of maturity than many other members in the Anti-Demon Corps. She does get easily flustered though as she becomes embarrassed after kissing Yuuki on the cheek as the price of using Kyouka's power.

Background

Nei is the only child of Professor Ookawamura, a researcher of Mato, who disappeared due to a Mato disaster which later manifested her powers. Her parents' reputation gave her the privilege of joining the Corps at a young age.

Peach Blessing

Promise (きっと見つける(プロミス), Puromisu, lit. "Sure to Find Promise"): Nei is a rare Clairvoyant, able to detect and locate people such as Shuuki inside of Mato, her power was born from her desire to find her missing parents.

• Sparkling Stars (無窮の鎖(スレイブ)・煌星(きらぼし), Sureibu: Kiraboshi, lit. "Eternal Chain: Glowing Stars"): The fourth transformation that Yuuki assumes under through using Lending. His appearance becomes much rounder, adopting a kind of armor and helmet with two stars on his shoulder. In this form, he loses his offense, defense, and speed, instead, his senses are all augmented instead of his offensive capabilities allowing him to sense or see things that he couldn't before in his other transformations. When focusing his power onto his senses, his sight improves to the point of even seeing through solid objects such as clothing, and his hearing became potent enough to hear the heartbeats of living creatures.

• Her first name Nei (寧) means "peaceful".
  • Her surname O (大) means "big, great", kawa (川) means "river, stream", mura (村) means "town, village", meaning "Great River Town". All together means "Peaceful Great River Town".
• Nei is the youngest member of the 7th Unit. She may also be the youngest member of the entire Anti-Demon Corps.
• Due to her rare ability, Nei already has many responsibilities despite being the youngest member.
  • She also part of a group of girls within the corps that can "foresee" danger.
