The Hidden Village[]
Following Aoba Wakura's plan to retrieve her brother, Yuuki Wakura, from the Anti-Demon Corps 7th Unit, Naon, accompanied by Akura, assists Koko Zenibako and Kumadouji in combating Himari Azuma and Shushu Suruga after Koko lures them out by pretending to be a Mato disaster victim. While Naon and Koko battle the 7th Unit, Aoba intercepts Kyouka Uzen and Yuuki as they rush to the aid of their comrades and Aoba successfully reclaims her brother. Naon and Koko retreat and return to the Hidden Village.
With Yuuki in their custody, Naon observes as Koko heals Yuuki by licking his body.[1] Aoba enters the room and, upon finding Koko licking her brother's naked body, she physically punishes her, demanding an explanation, but Naon explains that Koko was only healing Yuuki, after which Aoba apologizes. Once Yuuki is healed and dressed, Naon, Aoba, and Koko show him the Hidden Village, explaining that it is within a large cave system that runs through Mato and has many Peach trees. They further explain that all residents of the Hidden Village are Humanoid Shuuki like them, and they are all former humans (while also reassuring Yuuki that regular Shuuki were definitely never human). Aoba tells Yuuki he can live in the village with them and not be a "slave" anymore, but Yuuki protests, claiming the Anti-Demon Corps can protect Aoba and the other Humanoid Shuuki. However, this enrages Naon, Aoba, and Koko as they declare that the Anti-Demon Corps is their sworn enemy, while also informing Yuuki they plan to attack a certain research institute.[2]
After Aoba explains to Yuuki how she was able to locate him, his stomach abruptly starts growling and Aoba fetches him something to eat. Yuuki asks Naon and Koko if it was hard for them to deal with Aoba's personality, but they assure him that, although she can be bossy, she is a reliable leader. As Koko eats one of the Hidden Village's mushrooms, Yuuki becomes captivated by its smell, but Naon warns him that normal humans should not eat it as they are not sure what effect it will have. However, just from smelling it, Yuuki begins to hallucinate and sees Naon's breasts as meat buns. Losing his senses, Yuuki grabs and sucks on them. Koko attempts to intervene, but Yuuki sees her buttocks as a peach and grabs for her. Upon Aoba's return, Naon and Koko are stuck in the compromising and mortifying position of having their breasts and buttocks pressed against Yuuki's face.
Later, once Yuuki is back to normal, he apologizes to Naon and Koko and they quickly forgive him. Aoba then summons Kidoumaru, Akura and Kumadouji. Aoba, Naon, and Koko introduce Yuuki to them, explaining how they are able to control them. Upon Yuuki's inquiry, Aoba explains that, while she is the leader of the Humanoid Shuuki, she does not control all Shuuki, nor does she know if the Shuuki have a master. Yuuki then asks how Aoba, Naon, and Koko turned into Humanoid Shuuki.[3] Naon explains to Yuuki how she, Koko, and several other women were transported to Mato and turned into Humanoid Shuuki after eating a Peach, after which they were taken by the Onmyou Agency and cruelly experimented on. Yuuki suggests that the Humanoid Shuuki denounce the Onmyou Agency, but Naon explains that they have already tried, to no avail, as the Onmyou Agency is incredibly influential. Yuuki further protests, claiming that the Anti-Demon Corps can help, but Naon and the others are still unconvinced as they are sure the Commander of the Anti-Demon Corps is already aware of the Anti-Demon Corps' activities. Suddenly, Aoba senses that the Anti-Demon Corps have arrived and tells Naon and Koko to prepare for battle.[4]
Four of the Anti-Demon Corps (Kyouka, Tenka Izumo, Himari, and Yachiho Azuma) manage to infiltrate the caverns of the Hidden Village and happen upon a room where Akura and a small squad of Shuuki stand poised for battle while Naon remains hidden in the ceiling via her Hidden Beauty. Himari and stay in the room to fight the Shuuki while Kyouka and Tenka go on ahead.[5] Naon observes as Himari and Yachiho battle Akura and the Shuuki, unaware of her presence. Upon seeing an opening, Naon descends and attacks Himari, allowing a Shuuki to gravely injure her. However, upon seeing this, Yachiho uses her Golden Hour ability to rewind time, undoing the damage to Himari, and alerts her that there is another Shuuki hidden among them. Oblivious to Yachiho's time manipulation, Naon is left to wonder how she detected her. Himari and Yachiho continue to fight the Shuuki, and Yachiho is gradually worn down as she continuously uses her time manipulation ability. Seeing her fatigued state, Naon tries to attack Yachiho, but is blocked by Himari.[6] While Akura distracts Himari, Naon conceals herself once more by phasing into the floor. In order to flush Naon out, Himari uses her Learning ability to transform her hair into dozens of guns that fire all around the cave, eventually hitting Naon, but also destroying the cave in the process. However, Yachiho rewinds time once more to before Himari destroyed the cave and, now aware of Naon's location, she points her out to Himari who fires at Naon, causing her to fall in defeat.[7] Akura attempts one more attack, but Yachiho quickly shoots him down. Himari asks Naon if she will cooperate with them, but Naon can only think of escaping and regrouping with Aoba.[8]
Naon manages to escape and rejoins Koko and Kumadouji. The three regroup with Aoba and Kumadouji, who are facing down Kyouka, and they inform Aoba of their defeat. They are soon-after followed by Himari, Yachiho, Shushu, and Sahara who had pursued them. Suddenly, two figures, a black-haired girl (Shikoku) and a winged woman (Jouryuu), burst through the ceiling and descend. Jouryuu grabs Naon and Aoba and Shikoku introduces herself and Jouryuu as the Eight Thunder Gods who control the Shuuki.[9] Aoba struggles and tries to attack Jouryuu, but she is thrown aside. Naon uses Hidden Beauty to phase through Jouryuu's body and Koko joins her in attacking the Thunder God. However, they are stopped when Shikoku summons a swarm of mystical snakes that wrap around them and bite them, putting Naon and Koko into a deep sleep.[10] Despite Aoba's efforts to rescue them, Naon and Koko are abducted by Jouryuu.[11]
Naon and Koko are taken to the Eight Thunder Gods' lair where Shikoku, Jouryuu, and Rairen present their still-unconscious bodies to the egg-like Thunder God, Kuusetsu. Naon and Koko are quickly devoured whole by Kuusetsu, with the other Thunder Gods remarking that this will allow Kuusetsu to grow and Naon and Koko will serve as "living batteries" for its body.[12]
Aspects of Naon's and Koko's appearance and personalities, as well as their abilities, are later inherited by Kuusetsu as she takes on a humanoid form.[13]
Battle in Yokohama[]
Naon and Koko (along with Mira Kamiunten, who was also absorbed) are eventually rescued by Kyouka and Yuuki as they utilize a technique that allows Yuuki to penetrate Kuusetsu's body and free them from her.[14] The unconscious Naon and Koko are subsequently retrieved by Aoba who then makes her escape.[15]
Two days later, Tenka teleports Yuuki to the Hidden Village, and Naon, alongside Aoba and Koko, greet him happily.[16] While Yuuki visits with them, Naon and Koko express their gratitude to Yuuki for saving them. While Aoba and Tenka take their leave to discuss other matters, Yuuki asks Naon and Koko how they are doing and they reply that they are fine, although their bodies have been a bit sluggish. Yuuki then volunteers to give them a massage, which proves incredibly effective and instantly re-energizes them.[17]
