The Chiefs' Assembly[]
When Ren Yamashiro calls for a Chiefs' Assembly after the Anti-Demon Corps has repeated encounters with the Eight Thunder Gods, Mira attends the meeting, along with the other Chiefs. Before the meeting begins, Mira waits outside the 10th Unit Headquarters for Kyouka Uzen and, upon her arrival, she tauntingly congratulates Kyouka for defeating Kidoumaru. The two contentiously face off with each one stating that they will become the next Commander. Mira then addresses Kyouka's "Slave", Yuuki Wakura, and ties up his bootlaces for which he thanks her. Mira then goes ahead to the meeting room.
Once Mira and the rest of the Chiefs have assembled, Ren makes her arrival and the meeting begins.[1] As the meeting starts, the 1st Unit announces the appointment of Konomi Tatara as the new Chief with Riu Myouga stepping down to become Vice-chief, though Mira remarks that Riu can still "dance". Ren then brings up the topic of the Thunder Gods and the damage they have caused to the Anti-Demon Corps. Based on the evidence observed, she orders that if any of the Units are attacked by the Gods, the Chiefs must team up to defeat them. As the meeting continues, Ren brings attention to Yuuki, informing the other Chiefs that he is necessary for Kyouka's Slave ability.
Suddenly, Ginna Bizen interrupts the meeting, informing the Chiefs that an army of Shuuki has appeared. Ren orders Mira, Konomi, Yakumo Ezo, and Fubuki Azuma to deal with them and the four rush off.[2] Mira and the others quickly defeat the Shuuki, though Mira observes they should be wary of any additional waves. Ren then flies off to locate a group of terrorists who were controlling the Shuuki and she quickly defeats them.[3] After Ren returns, she quickly concludes the assembly, and Mira and the rest of the Chiefs return to their dorms.[4]
The Azuma Banquet[]
Ren calls another Chiefs' Assembly and Mira attends alongside the other Chiefs. Ren reports that she is pleased by the results of the joint training sessions and orders that they continue them. Ren also asks Kyouka why Yuuki (whom Ren had previously "borrowed" from her) is not present, and Kyouka replies that he is still recovering from their training session.[5]
Battle in Yokohama[]
After Ren calls an emergency meeting, Mira attends along with the other Chiefs. Attending remotely from Washington. Ren informs the Chiefs that one of the Thunder Gods has infiltrated the city of Yokohama and has been abducting young women. She presents surveillance footage of the Thunder God who is able to "dive" into walls. After the other Chiefs add their insight into the situation, Ren assigns Mira to lead a small team to rescue the abducted women and subjugate the Thunder God. Though Mira declares that she can defeat the Thunder God herself, Ren insists that she bring along another Chief and Mira selects Kyouka to join her. Mira, Kyouka and Yuuki head off as soon as the meeting concludes.[6]
Mira, Kyouka, and Yuuki arrive at the police station in Yokohama where Sorako Azuma and Takemi Azuma inform them that they have confirmed the Thunder Gods' victims are still alive and they will have their location by the following evening. Mira and Kyouka then discuss the potential motives of Thunder God, with Kyouka noting that she may be able to steal people's abilities. Mira also takes special notice of Yuuki.
Once their briefing is over, Mira, Kyouka, and Yuuki take a gondola ride over Yokohama to get a scope of the city. Upon Yuuki's inquiry, Mira and Kyouka explain their history to him before facing off intensely, each again declaring that they will be the next Commander. Later, at a restaurant, Mira tells Yuuki that, although she and Kyouka are rivals, she chose Kyouka to assist her because she legitimately believes she is the best person for the job. She also warns Yuuki no to be rash, as their lives come first, which is the "Soul" of the Anti-Demon Corps. Later, while the three go on a stroll, Mira observes the happy peaceful lives of the citizens and resolves to let the Thunder God hurt any of them.
That evening, Mira, Kyouka and Yuuki retire to a hotel and, while they are bathing, Mira asks Kyouka what she has been up to with Tenka Izumo. While Kyouka confirms there is something going on, she tells Mira she cannot tell her until the time is right, which Mira begrudgingly. Afterwards, Mira leaves the bathroom and has an awkward encounter with Yuuki as he sees her naked body. Flustered, Yuuki offers to sleep in another room, but an embarrassed says he can stay in the room as they must be ready at a moment's notice.
The next day, the police inform Mira and Kyouka that they have located the victims at an empty estate. Upon their arrival, Mira, Kyouka, and Yuuki see a Shuuki appear from the building and Mira volunteers to destroy it.[7] With her enhanced strength, via Megumi Zaha's Red Soul, Mira lands a critical blow to the Shuuki, but another Shuuki appears, holding one of the abducted women hostage. However, using All-Killing, Mira clones herself and gains the advantage on the Shuuki and rescues the hostage. Meanwhile, the first Shuuki recovers and attacks Kyouka and Kyouka destroys it, though she is lightly wounded in the process. The second Shuuki powers up, but Mira, having already rescued all the victims via her clones, surrounds the Shuuki and utterly destroys it.[8] With the Shuuki vanquished, Mira, Kyouka, and Yuuki explore the building for any trace of the Thunder God, but find nothing. Deciding to leave the rest to the police, Mira tells Kyouka to get her injuries checked, just in case. While Mira leaves to give her report, Kyouka gives Yuuki his Slave "reward", which involves her stripping naked. Unaware, Mira reenters the building and finds Yuuki touching Kyouka's naked body. Incredibly flustered, Mira leaves believing that Kyouka is in an intimate relationship with Yuuki.
Afterwards, Kyouka goes to a doctor to have her wounds looked at and Mira and Yuuki return to the hotel. Mira asks Yuuki if he and Kyouka are dating, but he denies it, explaining that he merely admires Kyouka as a great person who has allowed him to fight. Mira accepts Yuuki's explanation and orders him to go get some rest. However, Mira secretly still has strong reservations about Kyouka and Yuuki's relationship.[9] While Yuuki is resting, Kuusetsu, the Thunder God who abducted the women, infiltrates his room and assaults him. Yuuki cries out and, upon hearing him, Mira immediately rushes in, causing to Kuusetsu to flee. Mira chases after her and attacks her and a fight breaks out between them.
Kuusetsu proves formidable and Mira clones herself in an attempt to gain the advantage, but the two appear are evenly matched. Realizing this, Kuusetsu tries to flee once more, summoning a swarm of Shuuki, including one giant Shuuki to attack the city and distract Mira.[10] Intending to save everyone in Yokohama, Mira creates as many clones of herself as she can and attacks the invading Shuuki, easily destroying most of them. Mira also attacks the giant Shuuki, but it proves to be incredibly durable. However, Kyouka arrives on the scene and takes over the fight against the giant Shuuki for Mira. Meanwhile, Kuusetsu attempts to retreat, but, not wanting her to get away, Mira taunts the Thunder God and successfully goads her into fighting. The battle between the two resumes and, although Mira is low on energy due to using so many clones, she manages to land decisive hits on Kuusetsu.[11] Mira prepares to finish off Kuusetsu, but the Thunder God changes into a stronger powered-up form. Using her few remaining clones, Mira tries to attack, but Kuusetsu easily defeats most of them. After a successful misdirection, Mira and her last remaining clone land a devastating hit on Kuusetsu, but she manages to endure it. With Mira severely weakened, Kuusetsu alleges that she must have known she would lose after using so many clones to rescue the civilians. However, Mira defiantly declares that she had always planned to save everyone and defeat her. Kuusetsu is impressed by Mira's valor and the two share a moment of mutual respect before charging each other in a final clash. Ultimately, Mira is defeated and Kuusetsu proceeds to devour her.[12] Mira is absorbed into Kuusetsu's body and her All-Killing ability is subsequently inherited and utilized by Kuusetsu.
The battle continues with Kyouka and Yuuki receiving backup from Aoba Wakura, Tenka Izumo, Tobera Azuma, Maia Azuma, and Ren Yamashiro.[13] As Kyouka and Yuuki face off with Kuusetsu, Mira, apparently resisting from within Kuusetsu, manages to take control of one of Kuusetsu's clones and punch her. Soon after, Mira is rescued when Kyouka and Yuuki utilize a technique that allows Yuuki to penetrate Kuusetsu's body and free Mira (along Naon Yuno and Koko Zenibako who had previously been absorbed).[14] Mira lies unconscious as Kyouka apparently finishes off Kuusetsu and then tends to her.[15]
Two days later, Mira, fully healed, gives her report to the 10th Unit Headquarters with Kyouka. During that time, Yuuki awakens, having falling unconscious at the end of the battle, and Kyouka's Slave reward activates. Tenka teleports Mira, Kyouka, and herself to the 7th Unit dorm where Mira gives her thanks to Yuuki for saving her, and Kyouka commends Mira for her contribution to the battle. As the Slave reward begins, Kyouka embraces Yuuki and Tenka volunteers to help in the reward. Mira tentatively volunteers as well, but she becomes incredibly nervous and flustered as Kyouka and Tenka begin to strip. Kyouka assures Mira she does not need to participate and an embarrassed Mira is left behind as Kyouka and Tenka take Yuuki to the hot spring.[16]
Later, Mira attends a Chiefs' Assembly, where the Chiefs observe that the incident in Yokohama has caused a public uproar. Ren commends Mira's efforts in protecting the citizens of Yokohama, though Mira insists she was doing her job as part of the Mato Defense Corps. Ren then declares that there will be a Mato Emergency Announcement to prepare against the Thunder Gods.
Afterwards, Mira and Kyouka (accompanied by Yuuki) engage in a sparring match, after which Mira expresses her dissatisfaction over her loss to Kuusetsu. Mira then asks if she can borrow Yuuki, which Kyouka and Yuuki agree to. Mira takes Yuuki's chain and he transforms into the Slave: Roar form.[17] Mira rides Yuuki out into Mato to test out his new form. She revs his engine, creating a large sound that draws Shuuki out from underground in agony. On Mira's command, Yuuki fires flames from his mouth that incinerates most of them. A large Shuuki tries to attack, but Yuuki tears through it and other smaller Shuuki. Mira and Yuuki then go on to patrol the Second Unit's area.
Later, at the second unit's base, Yuuki returns to normal and Mira discusses Roar's capabilities with him. Mira then has Yuuki get in her car as the reward has started. Mira and Yuuki each drink a soda, much to Mira's confusion, but Yuuki clarifies that it is a "car date". After they each take a sip of their drinks, Mira hands her drink to Yuuki he drinks it as an “indirect kiss”. Mira then drinks Yuuki's soda and begins to remove her clothes. Yuuki asks her if she is okay but she insists it is nothing to her. She removes her bandages around her chest exposing her breasts to him and begins to make out with him.[18]
