Mato (
Description[]
Several decades prior, numerous Gates appear in locations all around Japan, which led to another different dimension around the same size as Kyoto (827.83 km² → 319.63 sq mi).[1][2] Inside Mato were several dangerous creatures, the Shuuki appeared from outside of the Gates attacking without remorse. However, it was the same place where the Peaches were discovered, which endowed women alone with special powers to combat the Shuuki leading to both the creation of the Anti-Demon Corps and women become superior to men, while all the men became subservient to women.[3][4][5]
After the creation of the Anti-Demon Corps, each of the nine units are divided into certain areas around Mato protected using a special barrier designed to keep Shuuki from invading them.[6]
