Learning (青雲の志(ラーニング), Rāningu, lit. "Ambitions of the Blue Sky") is the unique power granted to Himari Azuma after consuming a Mato Peach.

Description

Himari's power allows her to learn the Peach Blessings of other people who have consumed a Mato Peach, by observing them in combat, and logging them on her smartphone. Abilities learned will take the form of collectible cards on her phone's display. By choosing a power logged on her smartphone, she can use that ability for herself.

However, when Himari learns an ability, its quality degrades, and it may not be as powerful or effective as the original version. To use a copied ability effectively, Himari must have some degree of compatibility with it. If she attempts to use an ability which she is incompatible with, its effects will be minimal, to the point of being virtually unusable. Himari can also only use one ability at a time, and must manually switch between her learned abilities on her smartphone. If Himari is using an ability which has a cost (such as Kyouka Uzen's Slave), she must pay that cost before switching abilities.

While facing her mother Fubuki in the Azuma Banquet, Himari unlocked a powered-up state after the former insulted her chief. She was able to use multiple learned abilities in rapid succession - including those belonging to other Chiefs - without having to manually switch between them. Since then, Himari has been able to unlock this state against especially strong foes, and has lengthened its duration through physical and mental training.

Learned Blessings

Bang Bang Bang

Bang Bang Bang (武装小町(バンバンバン), Ban Ban Ban, lit. "Armed Belle"): Learned from Saki Tokoyama, a member of the Anti-Demon Corps's 5th Unit. Himari can use this ability to transform parts of her body into weapons, which are effective against most Shuuki.

• Firearms: Himari can transform parts of her body into firearms, allowing her to engage Shuuki from a distance. This is her go-to technique in combat, and she is able to use this technique while driving her unit's jeep. Himari usually transforms her arm into a Gatling-style machine gun, though she can also theoretically do this with other parts of her body and with other types of firearms.
  • Full Burst (一斉射撃(フルバースト), Furu Bāsuto, lit. "Salvo"): A technique in which Himari transforms her hair into multiple gun barrels pointing all around her, before releasing a volley of rounds in all directions.
• Sword: Himari briefly transforms her arm into a long blade to threaten Yuuki, after he protests against Kyouka's orders to concentrate on house chores.
• Shield: Himari is able to transform her arm into a one-handed shield.
• Chainsaw: Himari can transform her arm into a chainsaw with a long guide bar - which she used to chase Yuuki after he walked in on her changing.
• Laser Cannon: Himari can transform her entire arm into a laser cannon that can fire energy blasts powerful enough to take down large Shuuki.
• Missile Launcher: Himari can transform both of her hands into multiple missile launchers to barrage her enemies. She used this during the Azuma Banquet against her mother Fubuki.
• Shotgun: Himari can transform her hand into a four-barreled shotgun, delivering massive damage at close range.

Paradigm Shift

Paradigm Shift (玉体革命(パラダイムシフト), Paradaimu Shifuto, lit. "Imperial Liberation"): Learned from Shushu Suruga, her fellow member in the Anti-Demon Corps's 7th Unit. Himari is incompatible with this ability, due to its degradation. Himari claims that if she were to attempt to use this ability, the most she could manage would be growing her bust by about three centimeters.

Slave

Slave (無窮の鎖(スレイブ), Sureibu, lit. "Infinite Chain"): Learned from Kyouka Uzen, her Chief in the Anti-Demon Corps's 7th Unit. Through this form, Himari can transform Yuuki into a different form known as Whirlwind (無窮の鎖(スレイブ)・旋(つむじ)風(かぜ), Sureibu: Tsumujikaze, lit. "Eternal Chain: Whirlwind"), which is much faster than his base form, though not as strong or endurant.

• Branding (烙印破(らくいんは), Rakuin Yabu, lit. "Stigma"): A special technique which Yuuki can use in his Whirlwind Form. Taking advantage of his speed, Yuuki lunges forward while punching, focusing his power to deliver enormous damage to his target.
• Slave, Whirlwind "Heavenward" (無窮の鎖(スレイブ)・旋(つむじ)風(かぜ)-天(てん), Sureibu: Tsumujikaze - Ten, lit. "Eternal Chains: Slave, Whirlwind "Sky") An evolved form of Whirlwind which allows Yuuki to move much faster for a limited period of time, after which he will return to his regular Whirlwind form. Himari was able to use this form with Yuuki during the Azuma Banquet against her adoptive sister Homare, matching her pre-programmed movements and taking her down.

Night Storm

Night Storm (常闇舞踏団(ナイト・ストーム), Naito Sutōmu, lit. "Everlasting Darkness Dancing Group"): Learned from Yakumo Ezo, Chief of the Anti-Demon Corps's 5th Unit. Himari gains the ability to generate strong winds against a target, though she lacks the same fine control as Yakumo.

Ame-no-Mitori

Ame-no-Mitori (天御鳥命(アメノミトリ), Ame-no-Mitori, lit. "Heavenly Bird Life"): Learned from Tenka Izumo, Chief of the Anti-Demon Corps's 6th Unit. Himari gains the ability to teleport, though it is not as precise as the original version, and she cannot use it in rapid succession.

Python

Python (行電流水(パイソン), Paison, lit. "Line Current Water"): Learned from Homare Azuma, a member of the Anti-Demon Corps's 9th Unit, and her adoptive older sister. Himari gains the ability to program series of movements into her mind, which her body can then execute.

Golden Hour

Golden Hour (東の辰刻(ゴールデンアワー), Gōruden Awā, lit. "Eastern Engraving"): Learned from Yachiho Azuma, Vice-Chief of the Anti-Demon Corps's 6th Unit, and her older sister. By striking a pose, Himari gains the ability to stop or rewind time. She used this ability to close the gap between herself and her mother to launch her next attack, and also to maintain Shushu's survivability when engaging God of Thunder Rairen. As of now, Himari is able to stop or rewind time for up to five seconds, though she cannot use this power as often as her older sister.

Transience

Transience (東の星霜(うたかた), Utakata, lit. "East Star Frost"): Learned from Tobera Azuma, member of the Anti-Demon Corps's 9th Unit, former head of the Azuma Family, and her grandmother. Himari can absorb and manipulate the life force of living beings, which she can use to heal or attack others.

Beast Power

Beast Power (金色形意拳(ケモノチカラ), Kemono Chikara, lit. "Golden Xing Yi Quan"): Learned from Konomi Tatara, Chief of the Anti-Demon Corps's 1st Unit. Himari can project her inner aura to strengthen her attacks, similar to Konomi, though she has yet to exhibit any forms which mimic a specific animal.

All-Killing

All-Killing (緋色の連隊(オールキリング), Ōru Kiringu, lit. "Scarlet Regiment"): Learned from Mira Kamiunten, Chief of the Anti-Demon Corps's 2nd Unit. Himari can create a single clone of herself which possesses her current physical attributes, to aid her in combat.

Trivia

• Anti-Demon Corps 6th Unit member Sahara Wakasa theorizes that Peach Blessings are determined by the recipient's temperament and character. In Himari's case, she posits that Learning was born out of her desire to learn all sorts of things from Yachiho, whom she looks up to as an older sister.
• Himari's ability name literally translates to "Ambitions of the Blue Sky", and is also translated as "Lofty Ambitions". This refers to Himari's personal work ethic to better her abilities, and live up to her family name.
