Gate

Gate (門(クナド), Mon, lit. "Gate") is the entrance that leads inside of Mato.

Description

The Gates is what connects the Human World and the Demonic Capital, Mato, which appears at different places in Japan. Some Gates disappears after some time, an assortment of them to remain, which would be under the control of the government and Anti-Demon Corps taking form as a black hole that has rocks floating around it.

A number of cases referred to as Mato Disasters (魔都災害(まと さいがい), lit. Demonic Capital Disaster), where some people were pulled inside of Mato such as the case with both Aoba and Yuuki Wakura or in cases where the Shuuki passed through them to attack humans.
