End of the Chaos (混戦の結末, Konsen no Ketsumatsu) is the ninety-ninth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
At the Anti-Demon Corps 3rd Unit dorm, three of the 3rd unit members lie defeated while Bell Tsukiyono stands off desperately against the self-proclaimed three strongest of the Devotees. Bell fires a round of anti-Shuuki bullets at them, but they have no effect. Bell then activates her Laughing Juroujin in attack mode, causing a part of one of the Devotees' body to shine. Sensing the danger, the Devotees retreat to attack from a safe distance, which disrupts Bell's plan as she has to get in close to attack. One of the Devotees shoots out a wave of Life Melting Fluid at her, intent on dissolving her body. However, the attack misses and the Devotees discover that Bell has been rescued by Ren Yamashiro.
The Devotees are baffled, believing that Ren should have been restrained by another team attacking her headquarters, but Ren confirms that she has already destroyed them. As Ren places Bell on the ground the latter apologizes and Ren says she will give her a scolding later. One of the Devotees dives at Ren with a Divine Speed Strike, but Ren dodges and easily kicks her away. Ren then activates her Vairocana and kicks a tremendous blast of energy at another Devotee who attempts to endure it with her Divine Steel Body, but is obliterated. The remaining Devotee takes one of the defeated 3rd Unit members hostage, but Ren dismisses her, claiming that a hostage won't work on her. A burst of energy emerges from the ground in front of the Devotee, causing her to lose her grip on the hostage. Ren then finishes off the Devotee with a devastating punch, stating that the Devotee is far too weak.
Meanwhile, at the 7th Unit dorm, Nei Ookawamura thanks Tenka Izumo for providing reinforcements, while Tenka commends them for holding out so well. At the same time, Kaiko Itsuki utilizes her Miracle Care to encase Yachiho Azuma, Sahara Wakasa, Himari Azuma, and Shushu Suruga in cocoons and heal them. The four soon emerge from the cocoons feeling refreshed.
At the Eight Thunder Gods' hideout, Jaku'un is upset that none of the attacking Devotees were able to win, but Shikoku assures him that they were able to make their preparations amidst all the confusion and, thus, their goal was accomplished. Shikoku declares that the Thunder Gods will now go on the offensive and destroy the Anti-Demon Corps chiefs one by one.
