Abnormality is a special chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga, set between Chapter 98 and Chapter 99.

Summary[]

As Yuuki Wakura sleeps to recover from his fatigue, Tenka Izumo watches. She takes his temperature and is distressed to find that he is at 37.3 °C, ten degrees higher than his usual 36.3 °C.

In Yuuki's inner world, he is at a hot spring, naked, and being given a full-body massage by the also naked Kuusetsu. When Yuuki demands to know what she is doing, Kuusetsu replies that he cannot move and is getting a slight fever from his real world fatigue. She explains that she is therefore treating him by covering him in "divine essence". Internally, Kuusetsu considers that Yuuki's treatment in the real world is working too and that he should be fine.

Tenka takes Yuuki's temperature once more and sees he has dropped back down to 36.3 °C. Yuuki awakens shorty afterwards, completely rejuvenated.
