Bestowed Power (与えられし力, Ataerareshi Chikara) is the ninety-third chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Trapped within Yumeji Shimomura's barrier, Yuuki Wakura attacks a Shuuki, but it proves to be quite resilient. Meanwhile, as another Shuuki approaches Konomi Tatara, she finds she is unable to move her body and suspects it is due to Yumeji's ability. She recalls how, when following Yumeji, Kyouka Uzen informed her that Yumeji's ability, Imperium, grants her telekinetic abilities, which can be resisted with willpower. Putting Kyouka's advice to use, Konomi breaks herself free of Yumeji's hold and destroys the Shuuki. As Yumeji observes that a light hold will not keep her down, Konomi tells Yuuki to deal with the remaining Shuuki.
Konomi and Yumeji rush each other and exchange blows with Riu Myouga observing that Yumeji strength has been boosted as she is able to keep up with Konomi. Ultimately, Konomi knocks Yumeji and goes in for another attacks, but is stopped when a khakkhara staff descends from the sky and lands in front of her. Yumeji grabs the staff, declaring that the real fight has started. Undeterred, Konomi attacks, but Yumeji blocks her with the staff and she is electrocuted. Yumeji then twists Konomi's neck around and Konomi finds she is unable to resist. Before Yumeji can finish her off, Konomi twists the rest of her body around. Konomi asks Yumeji if her electric power is a power from the Thunder Gods and Yumeji confirms that she received the ability to generate electricity from them and the staff amplifies her power. Still determined, Konomi increases her strength with her Beast Power's Output Boost and attacks with her Tiger Claw Fierce Slash technique. The attack shoots out her aura at Yumeji who receives some injuries. In response, Yumeji levitates two trees into the air, declaring she will not fall for the aura attacks anymore. As Konomi slices through the trees, Yumeji dashes to the side, but, having seen Yumeji's maneuver coming, Konomi unleashes her Tiger Crushing Strike at her. However, Yumeji dodges it, spirals forward, and strikes Konomi with a critical blow, reiterating that she has seen through Konomi's martial arts.
