High Schooler Chief (女子高生組長, Joshikōsei Kumichō) is the ninetieth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
At the 1st Unit dorm, Konomi Tatara is defeated by Kyouka Uzen (her "Anedeshi") after an intense sparring session, while Yuuki Wakura and Riu Myouga observe. Kyouka offers to spar with Konomi again anytime while Yuuki notes that Kyouka is unrivaled in hand-to-hand combat. Riu then informs Kyouka and Konomi that a Gate has appeared and Kyouka states that she will she go with Yuuki as she wishes to try out a technique. Konomi says she will join them after she catches her breath.
At the Gate site, Kyouka is attacked by an enormous Shuuki, but, after charging up its power, she unleashes the "Slave-Edge Sword" technique, sending Yuuki flying from her sword and the Shuuki is obliterated in one hit. Kyouka is pleased by its success and believes it will be strong enough to defeat the other Thunder Gods. Shortly afterwards, Konomi arrives on the scene, though the Gate has already closed. Konomi locates Kyouka who is in the middle of giving a passionate Slave reward to Yuuki, much to Konomi's shock.
Some time later, while Konomi is attending school, she contemplates how intense Kyouka's expression was when she was kissing Yuuki and, despite the rumors that they are not actually dating, wonders if Kyouka really is in love with him. Internally, she becomes determined to support Kyouka, resulting in her unleashing Beast Power, which disrupts the other students and earns her a reprimand from her teacher.
Later, Konomi walks home with her friend Ema Makura who asks her about the incident. Konomi explains that she was wondering if kisses feel good, which surprises Ema. Konomi recalls to herself how entranced Kyouka looked while kissing Yuuki and wonders how good it must feel. She further recalls how Yakumo Ezo previously advised her to come to her alone if she ever wanted "adult advice". Oblivious to Yakumo's promiscuous nature, Konomi decides to follow up with her. Ema then asks Konomi if she would like to kiss her to satisfy her curiosity, which Konomi surprisingly seems to reciprocate. However, as Konomi seems to lean in for a kiss, the two are suddenly attacked by Yumeji Shimomura, but Konomi pushes Ema out of the way while dodging and counterattacking. Konomi recognizes Yumeji as a former Chief and the two prepare to face off in battle.
