The (Third) Birth of a Slave (スレイブの誕生(3回目), Sureibu no Tanjō (3-kai-me)) is the ninth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
As Yuuki Wakura bathes in the hot spring, he thinks back to how strong the one-horned Shuuki was and how he must become stronger to defeat it. Suddenly, he is interrupted by Shushu Suruga, who wishes to praise him as his master. Shushu thanks him for protecting her and, although Yuuki says it is unnecessary, she offers to wash his back. Shushu keeps Yuuki in place by telling him she is naked and then proceeds to wash his back, which she admires. Yuuki logically deduces that Shushu is probably lying about being naked in order to control him and so he turns around to call her bluff. But, as it turns out, Shushu is naked and Yuuki gets a full view of her breasts. Mortified, Yuuki runs off while Shushu is thrilled at him having seen her naked body.
Yuuki runs into the girls' changing room and sees Himari Azuma just as she is getting undressed. Furious, Himari transforms her hand into a chainsaw and chases after Yuuki. Suddenly, the chase is interrupted by two women who appear from a portal. One of them greets Yuuki and Himari happily while Himari looks scornfully at the other. Yuuki suspects they are invaders, but Himari informs him the women are from the Anti-Demon Corps 6th Unit. The two women introduce themselves as Tenka Izumo, the Chief of the 6th Unit, and Yachiho Azuma, the Vice-chief. Yuuki is surprised by the Azuma name, but, suddenly, Tenka gets in close to him and identifies Yuuki as Kyouka Uzen's rumored "slave". After looking him over, Tenka asks Himari to go get Kyouka.
In the 7th Unit meeting room, the whole of the 7th Unit gathers to meet with Tenka and Yachiho. Tenka praises Yuuki for the coffee he has prepared and Kyouka asks Tenka why she has come to the 7th Unit. Tenka replies that she has come to to address the notice regarding the Humanoid Shuuki as it requested that the Anti-Demon Corps units begin working closer together. Yachiho is less enthusiastic, commenting that the Humanoid Shuuki wouldn't be a problem if the 7th Unit had destroyed it. She then shames Himari by pointing out that she had passed out after being attacked by the Humanoid Shuuki and claiming that she is tarnishing the Azuma name, which visibly upsets Himari.
Tenka tries to change the subject and commends Kyouka for getting her subordinates to safety. They then bring up the 3rd Unit whose members had apparently faced a different Humanoid Shuuki and were greatly injured. Since there are apparently multiple Humanoid Shuuki, Kyouka agrees that the units will have to start working together. Yachiho butts in once more, stating that, while Kyouka is reliable, her Vice-Chief leaves much to be desired, making Himari angrier. Kyouka then proposes that they take part in the Mato Exhibition Games, which Tenka agrees to. Kyouka agrees to clear it with the higher-ups while Tenka gets her Unit ready for the match. As Tenka and Yachiho take their leave, Yuuki wonders what the games may entail. Suddenly, he is approached by Himari who declares that he must become her slave.
