The Boss of a Slave (スレイブの上司, Sureibu no Jōshi) is the eighth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
At the 7th Unit dorm, Kyouka Uzen talks with Yuuki Wakura about their most recent mission. Although she believes it is unfortunate the one-horned Shuuki escaped, she admits that saving Shushu Suruga and Himari Azuma was more important and expresses her gratitude to Yuuki. He remarks that her reward is a strange way to show her gratitude, but she furiously stomps on him, yelling that she is only doing it because it his latent desire.
Yuuki informs Kyouka that the mysterious girl looked a lot like his sister who went missing after a Mato disaster. He admits that he has no real evidence, though he does have a feeling and the girl seemed to hesitate upon seeing him as well. Kyouka speculates that the girl talking about her brother caused Yuuki to think about his sister. She also remarks that the girl said her brother was the world's most handsome man, which Yuuki concedes cannot be right (after Kyouka steps on his face). Kyouka also observes that the girl's strength and abilities were inhuman, prompting Yuuki to wonder if her ability caused her to transform like he does. As she steps on Yuuki's crotch, Kyouka explains that the girl ate multiple Peaches, even though one should be the limit, and that she is the first Humanoid Shuuki she has ever seen. Kyouka declares that they will definitely meet the girl again and learn more about her, which Yuuki happily agrees to. Kyouka remarks how happy Yuuki is for a person who is being stepped on, after which she sits on his face, disgusted by his perversion.
Later, Kyouka and Yuuki look out at the Mato world, and Kyouka observes that the Shuuki have begun to change and become more unpredictable. She believes their report will have repercussions throughout Japan.
While Yuuki prepares food in the kitchen, he thinks to himself that the mysterious girl looks more and more like his sister the more he thinks about it. Although he had lost hope that she was alive, he wonders how he can get back together with her. His train of thought is interrupted by Nei Ookawamura who observes that one of his pots is spilling over. Yuuki apologizes, but Nei orders him to sit down as she will do what she must as his supervisor. Yuuki expects a punishment, but instead Nei pets and consoles him, praising him for his performance on the battlefield. Although she admits her cooking isn't the best, Nei says she will finish it up. Yuuki is grateful, but he stops her as he wishes to finish up himself. He pets Nei in return and thanks her for being such a good superior to him. Yuuki tells himself that he will know for sure if the girl is his sister next time they meet, but for now he will focus on his job.
Somewhere in Mato, the mystery girl carves a picture of Yuuki's slave form on a rock. She says she sure is that he was Yuuki, but wonders why he looked the way he did. She considers that she will have to handle the situation delicately and look deeper into it, but she declares that she is happy to see him again and will live with him in Mato if need be.
Meanwhile, as Kyouka anticipated, the Anti-Demon Corps receive new orders to address the evolving Shuuki.
