The Marvels of a God of Thunder (八雷神の驚異, Hachiraijin no Kyōi) is the seventy-seventh chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
As Kuusetsu finishes devouring Mira Kamiunten, she notices that Kyouka Uzen and Yuuki Wakura have arrived. Shocked and enraged at the loss of their comrade, Kyouka and Yuuki charge at Kuusetsu to attack, but Kuusetsu easily stops them and knocks them away with her newfound power. Kyouka quickly recovers and attacks Kuusetsu with her "Chaotic Cherry Blossoms" technique, but once more Kuusetsu easily blocks her and tosses her aside. Yuuki attempts an attack, but Kuusetsu hits him in the stomach knocking him. Kuusetsu mocks Kyouka and Yuuki's efforts, declaring that the powered up forms of the other Eight Thunder Gods are even stronger than her.
Kuusetsu climbs on top Yuuki, assuring him he is only alive right now thanks to Shikoku's caution. Insulted by Yuuki's previous refusal of her, Kuusetsu bares her breasts and tries to copulate with him once more. However, Kuusetsu is blown away by a hooded figure who quickly reveals herself to be Aoba Wakura. Aoba stares Kuusetsu down and states she can feel life forces of Naon Yuno and Koko Zenibako inside her. Yuuki and Kyouka realize that this means the people Kuusetsu absorbed are still alive and become determined to make her release them.
Unperturbed, Kuusetsu uses Mira's All-Killing ability to clone herself and then releases her final special Shuuki card, summoning a humongous Shuuki whose head and arms protrude from a portal. Kuusetsu then declares that Mira made the wrong decision to try to stall her, but Kyouka states that she was correct as it would be dangerous to allow Kuusetsu to escape. Still, Kuusetsu mocks her, pointing out that Mira was absorbed and made Kuusetsu stronger, to which Kyouka declares that they are the Anti-Demon Corps and their match will begin now.
Meanwhile, at the 10th Unit Headquarters, Ginna Bizen notifies Ren Yamashiro that the preparations to send reinforcements to Yokohama are complete. Back in Yokohama, Tenka Izumo arrives at the scene of the battle via Ame-no-Mitori, while Tobera Azuma and Maia Azuma quickly approach via The Great One. Ginna informs Ren that the situation in Yokohama has gotten worse, but Ren tells her she is already aware and plans to assist using her abilities all the way from Washington.
At the battle scene, Kuusetsu proclaims she will trample the others with a god's legion, while Kyouka declares that they will defeat her.
