A Chief's Resolve (組長の覚悟, Kumichō no Kakugo) is the seventy-fifth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
In a flashback, while bathing, Shikoku gives Kuusetsu a deck of Shuuki cards for her to use while she is in the human world. She explains that the Shuuki sealed inside the cards will awaken once she gives a signal and that four of them are very strong Shuuki, including a dead Shuuki that Shikoku remodeled and a giant Shuuki. Kuusetsu is thrilled by the gift and embraces Shikoku.
Back in the present, the Shuuki that Kuusetsu has unleashed terrorize Yokohama, much to her delight, but Mira Kamiunten furiously declares that she will show Kuusetsu how many she can save. Narration explains that, when using her All-Killing ability, Mira can produce clones based on whether she wishes to increase her strength or create sheer numbers. Mira focuses on the latter, creating hundreds of clones, pushing herself to the limit, and proclaims that she will not let anyone die. Mira's clones spread throughout the city and destroy the attacking Shuuki, while also saving all bystanders. The giant Shuuki nearly destroys an occupied building with an energy beam, but Mira hits it with a powerful blow. However, the Shuuki is still active and tries to attack Mira who notes that the attacking Shuuki are stronger than the ones in Mato. Suddenly, Kyouka arrives on the scene and strikes the giant Shuuki with her sword before it can fire its energy beam. Kyouka regroups with Mira, explaining that her treatment is over and asks Mira what her instructions are. Mira tells Kyouka to defeat the giant Shuuki and then regroup with Yuuki Wakura before rejoining Mira at Rinko Park to battle the Thunder God.
Meanwhile, Kuusetsu watches the battle facetiously, impressed that Mira has been able to save everyone. Mira contemplates that she always thought having one body wouldn't be enough to protect her, hence why she believes she was granted the All-Killin ability. Kuusetsu prepares to depart, telling Mira she will give her "Divine Punishment" next time. However, not wanting Kuusetsu to escape, Mira baits her, mocking her for trying to flee and calls her an ugly bitch. Enraged, Kuusetsu declares she will deliver Divine Punishment right now. Kuusetsu asks Mira how she plans to fight since she can no longer freely clone herself, and Mira responds by leaping into the air and diving towards Kuusetsu, seemingly ready to punch her in the face. Kuusetsu smugly coats her head in slippery fluid, planning to let Mira's fist slide off, but the attack proves to be a feint as Mira instead kicks Kuusetsu in the abdomen. Sensing an attack from behind, Mira turns and catches two of Kuusetsu's feathers in her hands, which she deduces were controlled remotely. As Mira falls, Kuusetsu unleashes a flurry of feathers to destroy her, but Mira manages to force one more clone out and jumps off of it, propelling herself towards Kuusetsu and striking her with another powerful blow.
