Incidents in the Human World (現世での異変, Gense de no Ihen) is the seventieth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
At Mato Headquarters, Yuuki Wakura wanders the halls, looking for the restroom. On the way, he spots Varvara Pilipenko, but, as he approaches her, she shyly retreats from him. As Yuuki leaves, she gives him an intense glare, making Yuuki wonder if she hates him.
Yuuki is then grabbed by Yakumo Ezo who asks if they can do "lending" again while she seductively presses herself against him. Though Yuuki tries to politely refuse, Yakumo offers to take him to a hot spring and give him a suitable "reward", which causes Yuuki to flee.
Later, having used the restroom, Yuuki encounters Tenka Izumo who offers to take him back to the conference room, claiming that he is taking the long way back and that she will protect him from any "dangerous" people.
In the conference room, the eight Anti-Demon Corps chiefs have gathered, and Ginna Bizen presents Ren Yamashiro on a live feed from Washington. Ren informs the other Chiefs that several actresses have gone missing in Yokohama in the human world and it has been discovered that one of the Eight Thunder Gods is responsible. Ren shows footage of the God via a surveillance camera, explaining that she "dived" between a gap in the walls. Fubuki Azuma remarks that, since a God of Thunder is involved, the Anti-Demon Corps must step in. Bell Tsukiyono adds that this is the first instance of a Shuuki doing more than just going wild after entering the human world. Kyouka Uzen proclaims that this is proof that all Shuuki must eliminated as soon as possible, but Ren tells her that they must focus their efforts on the Thunder God. Since Mira Kamiunten's gate connects to Yokohama, Ren puts her in charge of the subjugation force. Ren says the subjugation force should consist of no more than a few people and Mira insists she can take care of the Thunder God on her own. Regardless, Ren insists she take another Chief and Mira obligingly selects Kyouka to go with her, which Kyouka agrees to. Riu Myouga wonders if it is okay for the Chiefs in charge of both gates to go together, but Ren assures her that the others will fill in for them. Mira declares that they will depart once the meeting is over and Yuuki contemplates that the next battle will be the human world.
In a closed building, Kuusetsu appears before two Shuuki and drops a naked woman before them, telling them to store her. One of the Shuuki, resembling Akura, wraps the woman up in a web, while the other Shuuki sticks her to the ceiling, where several other women are wrapped up in webs. Kuusetsu declares that she nearly has the right number of humans and is getting hungry.
