The 9th's Chief (九番組組長, Kyū Bangumi Kumichō) is the sixty-third chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
After walking in on Yuuki Wakura and Himari Azuma, Fubuki Azuma realizes the nature of the Slave reward while Yuuki becomes flustered by seeing her partly-revealed chest up close when Fubuki stood behind him. Himari asks Fubuki to wait so she can quickly finish up the reward, but Fubuki stays and instructs Himari to reward Yuuki properly. Fubuki explains that, even if the reward is just a kiss, Himari could do more than just kiss the mouth. In attempts to demonstrate this, Fubuki goes to Yuuki and gently bites or gnaws his ear and licks it; also moving her hands over his body. In response, Himari shows a little agression in kissing Yuuki, but Fubuki, while pressing herself against Yuuki and placing her hands on his thighs, says that Himari is being too eager and should pace herself. Fubuki thinks to herself how cute the spectacle is.
At the Azuma Estate, the unconscious bodies of Takemi Azuma, Sorako Azuma, Yumina Azuma, and Homare Azuma lie before Tobera Azuma, Kyouka Uzen, and Tenka Izumo. Tobera states that the "appetizer" is over and they will move on to the "main dish". The portal shows that Himari and Yuuki and Fubuki are about to face off.
On the battlefield, Fubuki commands Himari to show her her strength and then unleashes her ability, Sunset, which manifests a large spear. Yuuki recalls that Himari told him that Fubuki's spear can extend and retract and is surprisingly strong. However, with his Skyward form, he believes they can win. Yuuki activates his Sky form and Himari declares that they will defeat Fubuki just as they defeated Homare. With Himari on his back, Yuuki charges at Fubuki, but she responds by emitting a fierce aura and rapidly jabbing her spear at them. Yuuki struggles to block the attacks as he sees that the strength and speed of Fubuki's attacks far exceeds Homare's. Yuuki retreats to gain some distance, but, realizing that Fubuki has sneaked up behind them, he throws Himari from his back and takes a powerful blow from Fubuki. Yuuki is sent flying and is instantly defeated.
As the smoke from the attack clears, Himari sees Fubuki carrying Yuuki, who is now back in his human form. As she sets Yuuki down, Fubuki tells Himari that she is inexperienced in the Skyward form and points out that she had to have someone protect her again. As Himari tenderly holds Yuuki's body, Fubuki asks her if that is all her power amounts to. She further claims that they don't need someone who fights using only Slave as they already have Chief Uzen. In response, Himari angrily activates her Bang Bang Bang ability and morphs her hands into two large missile launchers. She fires the missiles, proclaiming that even if Fubuki spins her spear they will still hit her. Fubuki loudly decrees that she is foolish and, with a single swipe of her spear, she destroys all the missiles before they can reach her. As Himari stands in awe, Fubuki explains that she can control how much energy her spear uses and that she was only using ten percent of her power. Fubuki lunges at Himari with her spear and, although Himari is able to block it by creating a shield, she is knocked down. Fubuki declares that if Himari is a vice-chief then she should have to make her use at least thirty percent of her power.
Back at the Azuma Estate, Tobera is disappointed, believing this is where the Azuma Banquet will end. Kyouka clenches her fist in anger as Himari struggles to get back up.
