Tired Slave (憔悴のスレイブ, Shōsui no Sureibu) is the fifty-eighth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Having returned to the 7th Unit dorm after training with the 10th Unit, Kyouka Uzen stands outside, thinking about Yuuki Wakura being lent to Yakumo Ezo and Ren Yamashiro. Abruptly, a Shuuki appears and attacks her. Angered by the constant distractions, Kyouka fiercely fights back and defeats it. Although victorious, Kyouka observes that lending out Yuuki has put her spirit in disarray. Yuuki approaches her and says he is ready to resume their training. Kyouka initially complies, but then realizes that Yuuki is still tired, demonstrating it by lightly poking him, which causes him a good deal of pain. She sees that Yuuki's transformation under the Commander has been particularly rough and insists that he rest until he is fully recovered. As she carries him back, Yuuki apologizes and explains that he truly wanted to get back to training with her, which surprises and pleases Kyouka. She then lifts Yuuki into her arms, making him feel somewhat awkward, but she orders him to rest and he complies.
Later, at the Chiefs' Assembly, Ren states that she is pleased by the results of their joint training sessions and orders that they continue them. Bell Tsukiyono sits nervously, aware that Ren is in a bad mood, and tries not to be noticed. Ren asks Kyouka where Yuuki is, citing that she instructed her to bring him with her. Tenka Izumo wonders if Ren has taken an interest in Yuuki, knowing that it will be rough for him if so. Kyouka explains that Yuuki is exhausted and cannot do anything in the state he is in, prompting a cheeky remark from Yakumo. That being the case, Ren orders Bell to stay behind to her utter dread.
While walking through a hallway, Tenka asks Kyouka if she has learned how to lend out Yuuki. Kyouka angrily reiterates that Yuuki is exhausted and cannot be lent out. Tenka expresses her sympathy for him and offers to help 7th Unit any way she can. Kyouka remarks that she thought Tenka would ask her to lend Yuuki to her. Tenka concedes that she does want to borrow Yuuki, but she feels she does not need to rush things. The two are then approached by Fubuki Azuma who wishes to discuss a matter with Kyouka.
Back at the 7th Unit dorm, Himari massages Yuuki to help him recover. She reminds him that he also needs to train with her, though she recalls the embarrassing position she was in after granting Yuuki his "reward" last time. Kyouka suddenly announces her return, but Himari is surprised to see Fubuki has arrived with her as well.
