Wild Mountain Cherry Blossoms (乱れ山桜, Midare Yamazakura) is the forty-first chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Kyouka Uzen recalls her hometown. Since her hometown had heavy snowfall each year, she enjoyed celebrating in spring amid the cherry blossoms. She was happy there and hoped to live well with the other townspeople. Sadly, her happiness came to an end when Kidoumaru destroyed her town.
Back in the present, Jouryuu, with Naon Yuno and Koko Zenibako in tow, suggests to Shikoku that they leave since they have succeeded in their mission. However, Shikoku wishes to stay and see how the battle between Kidoumaru and the 7th Unit will turn out. Jouryuu departs and tells Shikoku to return soon. Shikoku watches the battle, believing that even an Anti-Demon Corps Chief will have trouble against Kidoumaru.
Kyouka and Yuuki Wakura deliver devastating blows to Kidoumaru, which surprises Shikoku. Yuuki focuses his power and hits Kidoumaru with his Slave Mount Fist technique, which shatters the Shuuki's fist. Kyouka asks Kidoumaru if he is angry and then furiously tells him that her anger is a hundred times greater. Kidoumaru lets out a beastly yell and breaks apart his armor to greatly expand his muscles. Kidoumaru attempts to pierce them with his horn, but Yuuki catches it. He is unable to resist Kidoumaru's intense strength, but he manages to stop by the horn by catching it with his mouth after focusing all his power there. Shikoku is amazed by Yuuki's ingenuity.
Kyouka severs Kidoumaru's horn with her sword and declares it is time for him to die. Kidoumaru attacks her, but Kyouka unleashes her Chaotic Cherry Blossoms attack. As she cuts him to pieces, Kyouka recalls the recovery and intense training she went through after her hometown was destroyed. Kyouka cries out that she will not allow him to dodge and he will die from the unrelenting slashes. Kyouka is victorious as Kidoumaru is cut into hundreds of pieces and dies. Kyouka dedicates her victory to her hometown.
