Slave of Rage (怒りのスレイブ, Ikari no Sureibu) is the fortieth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
The 7th and 6th Units face down Shikoku and Jouryuu, the latter of whom has Aoba Wakura and Naon Yuno in her grasp. Shikoku confirms to Kyouka Uzen that they are the Eight Thunder Gods who will bring an end to humanity. Kyouka contemplates that the battle won't go well if she can't ride Yuuki Wakura, who is still tied up.
Aoba struggles against Jouryuu and tries to attack her with her hair, but Jouryuu suddenly throws her aside. Naon uses her Hidden Beauty to merge into Jouryuu and Koko Zenibako goes in for an attack, but they are stopped by Shikoku's Black Spiral technique, which draws them towards her. Shikoku then activates her Dark Snake Prison technique, which causes her snakes to wrap around Naon and Koko and bite them, putting them into a deep sleep. Furiously, Aoba rushes towards Shikoku, shouting that she doesn't care about gods and will rescue Naon and Koko because she is their "sister". She summons Kidoumaru and Kumadouji to join her in the attack. Sahara Wakasa, Himari Azuma, Shushu Suruga, and Yachiho Azuma join in the attack too, but they are all blown away by Jouryuu who creates a devastating shock wave, just by stomping the ground. The 7th and 6th Unit members are knocked out, but Aoba, though injured, remains standing. She attempts another attack and calls for Kidoumaru, but he suddenly turns on her. Kidoumaru strikes Aoba with his horn and she is knocked down. Shikoku explains that Kidoumaru has gone back to his old self due to a bite from her snake. Since he is such a strong Shuuki, Shikoku believes it would be a waste for him to be used as a pet.
Kidoumaru lets out a deafening roar and focuses in on Kyouka who is cutting Yuuki free. Kyouka asks the injured Tenka Izumo if she can stand, and she replies that she'll be fine and Kyouka should focus on the battle. Seeing his sister and the 7th and 6th Unit members injured due to the actions of the Thunder Gods, Yuuki is filled with rage. Kyouka offers her hand to Yuuki and tells him that they will make them submit. As Kidoumaru rushes towards them, Yuuki transforms into his Slave form and charges at the Shuuki in turn with Kyouka astride him.
