Love for a Slave (スレイブへの愛, Sureibu e no Ai) is the thirty-eighth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Tenka Izumo and Aoba Wakura continue their battle while the restrained Yuuki Wakura watches helplessly. Tenka takes stock of Aoba's abilities, including her sturdy body, barrages she fires from her mouth, hair control, and powering up by eating Peaches. Aoba fires strands of her hair at Tenka, but she dodges with her Ame-no-Mitori ability. Aoba hears where Tenka has teleported and attempts to strike her with a devastating punch, but Tenka dodges once more. Aoba relentlessly continues her assault and Tenka continues to evade her.
Aoba considers that eating the Peach has heightened her five senses and, thus, can always get a bead on Tenka's location. Although Tenka continues to evade her, Aoba believes she will tire herself out eventually, allowing Aoba the chance to strike. Tenka realizes Aoba's plan and is assured that it will not work as she can instantly teleport 666 times without tiring. With Kyouka Uzen still fighting Kidoumaru, Tenka plans to hold out until she wins and will go on the offensive once there is a change-up.
Tenka and Aoba's battle continues for thirty more seconds, after which it comes to an abrupt end. Seeing an opportunity, Aoba tries to kick Tenka, but instead kicks Kidoumaru as Tenka baited her into doing so. Kyouka then slashes Aoba with her sword, breaking her rhythm, before returning to her fight against Kidoumaru. Aoba goes on the offensive against Tenka once more, but Tenka creates a vortex that greatly injures Aoba. Tenka prepares to finish her off, but hesitates as she does not wish to seriously harm Yuuki's sister. Aoba then unleashes a devastating energy blast from her mouth that hits Tenka dead-on.
Once the smoke has cleared, Yuuki sees that Tenka has been greatly injured by the blast. Tenka remarks that the speed of the beam rose before collapsing to the ground in defeat.
