Battle in the Hidden Village (隠れ里の戦い, Kakurezato no Tatakai) is thirty-second chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
At the entrance to the Hidden Village, the 7th and 6th Units are attacked by a swarm of Shuuki. Acting on their plan to move in two units, Tenka Izumo teleports Kyouka Uzen, Himari Azuma, Yachiho Azuma, and herself inside while Shushu Suruga and Sahara Wakasa stay behind. Koko Zenibako and Kumadouji then arrive on the scene and Shushu and Sahara prepare to face off against them.
Kyouka's team navigates the Hidden Village caves, noting it is quite different from the cave the 7th Unit's away team is investigating. They then happen upon a room where Akura and a team of Shuuki stand poised to fight. Realizing that Yuuki Wakura is still further inside, Himari and Yachiho agree to stay behind and fight while Kyouka and Tenka go deeper. Unbeknownst to them, Naon Yuno is also in the room, hidden by her Peach ability.
After exploring further, Kyouka finally locates Yuuki, who is with Aoba Wakura and Kidoumaru. While Aoba is distracted, Tenka appears from behind with her Ame-no-Mitori and lovingly grabs Yuuki. Enraged, Aoba attacks Tenka, but she teleports away with Yuuki in tow. Tenka then teleports Yuuki, Kyouka, and herself away to another part of the village, though Aoba has determined the gist of her ability.
With Yuuki and Kyouka reunited, the Slave reward immediately takes effect and Kyouka starts sucking on his fingers. Feeling excluded, Tenka joins in and starts sucking on Yuuki's other hand, explaining to Kyouka that she also wishes to reward Yuuki for doing well on his own. Suddenly, Aoba and Kidomaru appear and attack, but Yuuki blocks their way. Yuuki demands his sister to listen to him and, despite her initial fury, she quickly calms down and agrees.
Yuuki explains Aoba's situation to Kyouka and Tenka, and also explains to Aoba that, although he is treated like a slave by the Anti-Demon Corps, he has willingly chose to fight with them. Kyouka is surprised to learn about the experiments being performed by the Onmyou Agency and assures Aoba that they will put a stop to it. However, Aoba still insists that the Humanoid Shuuki will do as they please and destroy the Onmyou Agency as there is no point in trusting two subservient members of the Anti-Demon Corps. This being the case, Kyouka and Tenka agree that they will have to stop her by force. Kyouka also declares that she will finally settle the score with the "One-horned Shuuki". As they prepare to face off, Aoba wonders what Unit Tenka is from. Tenka replies that she is 6th Unit's Chief, and further states that she is dating Yuuki, while also calling Aoba "sister". This causes Aoba to become utterly livid.
