Premonition of Trouble (波乱の予感, Haran no Yokan) is the thirtieth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Narration explains that, in order to consume a Peach, women must submit a request to the government. Once approved after a strict inspection, they eat the peach under direct supervision. Conversely, some women do not desire a Peach as they like themselves as they are or they find the Peaches suspicious.
In the Hidden Village, Yuuki Wakura wonders what he can do to abate his sister Aoba Wakura, and her comrades Koko Zenibako and Naon Yuno. Deciding he needs he more information, Yuuki asks Aoba how she knew he was in Mato and she merely replies that he could sense his presence. Yuuki brings up that Aoba had called him the world's most handsome man, which he finds confusing. Aoba replies that, while she didn't want to spoil him, she believes he has matured into an incredibly handsome man (though Koko and Naon are less enthused by his appearance).
Abruptly, Yuuki's stomach growls and Aoba fetches him something to eat. Yuuki asks Koko and Naon if it was hard for them to deal with Aoba's personality. They reply that, while she is definitely bossy, Aoba is a leader than can count on and everyone in the village supports her. As Koko eats a mushroom, Yuuki takes notice of its pleasant smell. Koko explains that it is a mushroom they grow in the village that provides an energy boost. Yuuki is fascinated by it, but Naon warns him that normal humans should not eat it as they are not sure what effect it would have. However, just from smelling it, Yuuki begins to hallucinate and sees Naon's breasts as meat buns. Losing his senses, Yuuki grabs and sucks on them. Koko angrily intervenes, but Yuuki sees her buttocks as a peach and grabs for them. As Aoba returns with food, she finds Yuuki pressing Naon's breasts and Koko's butt to his face.
Later, having come out of his trance, Yuuki apologizes to Naon and Koko and they quickly forgive him. With Yuuki back to normal, Aoba summons the three Shuuki they had been using earlier. They introduce them as Kumadouji, Akura, and the one-horned Shuuki Kidoumaru. Yuuki is surprised that they Shuuki obey them and Aoba clarifies that they have to demonstrate their strength to them first, and they apparently obey them since they have lost half of their humanity. Trying to press them for more information, Yuuki asks what Aoba meant when she said Kyouka Uzen was half right about her being the leader of the Shuuki. Aoba replies that, while she is the leader of the Humanoid Shuuki, she does not lead the Shuuki themselves, nor does she know if a leader of the Shuuki even exists. She further explains that the reason she said Kyouka doesn't know about Mato relates to why they turned into Humanoid Shuuki, which Yuuki asks to hear more about.
Meanwhile, at the 7th Unit dorm, Himari Azuma wraps Shushu Suruga's arm with some Mato bandages that quickly heal her. Shushu wonders if Yuuki is alright, but Himari reasons that, since the Humanoid Shuuki retreated as soon as they caught him, they must have wanted him alive. Kyouka agrees with her assessment and orders Himari and Shushu to get ready for departure. Kyouka informs them that her body has begun to move on its own, meaning that Yuuki's transformation has been undone and the reward is taking effect. She explains that, while her body will act as a radar leading them to Yuuki, Nei Ookawamura will watch the battle from afar. Suddenly, the 6th Unit appears via Tenka Izumo's Ame-no-Mitori, having agreed to help them rescue Yuuki.
