The Second Match (第2試合, Dai 2 Shiai) is the seventeenth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Shushu Suruga grows to giant size with her Paradigm Shift and attacks Sahara Wakasa with an enormous punch. However, Sahara calls out the number three and activates her Crazy Sheep ability, leaping out of the way. She hits Shushu with a powerful smack.
Narration explains that Sahara's Crazy Sheep allows her enhance her strength for a period between one and sixty minutes. The shorter the length of time, the stronger she becomes, and she cannot use the ability for three minutes after time expires.
The rest of the 7th Unit is amazed at Sahara's ability, while Yachiho Azuma cheers her on. Tenka Izumo comments that, while one minute would make Sahara stronger, it could be dangerous if her opponent has a way to hold out.
Shushu attempts to kick Sahara, but she dodges once more and strikes Shushu's leg. As Sahara begins to throw boulders at Shushu, she remarks that, although Shushu's size is impressive, her movements are slow and easy to dodge. Shushu suffers the blows from the rocks, but, after seeing Yuuki Wakura, she regains her confidence and attacks. She proclaims that holding back is boring and she wants to fight with a bang. She then grows even larger and throws her entire body at Sahara in an attempt to crush her. Sahara manages to block and hold up Shushu's body, but just barely. Shushu then grabs Sahara, pointing out that she got so large that Sahara couldn't dodge. Shushu throws Sahara to the ground, knocking her unconscious. Exhausted, Shushu tells Ginna Bizen to check on her, but, despite being unconscious, Sahara suddenly gets back on her feet, emitting a powerful aura. Sahara charges at Shushu who is unable to move due to using her ability so much.
Narration explains that when Sahara goes unconscious while using Crazy Sheep, her body moves and fights on its own. Although there is a risk that she will attack friends as well as foes, Sahara's strength becomes even greater. As Sahara is able to sleep at any time, this is her signature move.
Sahara easily overpowers Shushu, throwing her to the ground. Shushu falls unconscious and shrinks back to normal size. Thus, Sahara is declared the winner.
While the 6th Unit congratulates Sahara, Yuuki and Nei Ookawamura rush over to the defeated Shushu. After Ginna heals her, Shushu gets back up, but finds that her uniform has torn open, exposing her breasts. As Yuuki looks away, embarrassed, Nei covers her with her robe. Realizing that she lost, Shushu goes to Kyouka Uzen to apologize. Nevertheless, Kyouka tells her it was a close one and she will tell her what to reflect on later. As Shushu goes inside to change she begins to cry as she believes she allowed Yuuki to see an uncool side of her. Seeing Shushu is upset, Yuuki follows her.
Meanwhile, Kyouka asks Nei to examine Mato once more. As she scans the area, Nei discovers a mysterious girl and woman, whom she does not recognize. As Nei examines her, the girl seems to look back at her with a fearsome glare, which shocks Nei. The girl realizes that they are being seen and she tells Nei to tell the others that the battle is about to begin.
