Burning Master (燃えるご主人, Moeru Goshujin) is sixteenth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
As Yachiho Azuma gets dressed, Tenka Izumo discusses her match with Himari Azuma and Yuuki Wakura. Particularly, she notes how this was Yuuki's first match against another person and he may have been holding back. With that in mind, she tells Yachiho to reflect on the match as if she had been killed by his initial attack. Furthermore, she remarks on how Yuuki made himself a decoy and believes him to be a true "slave".
Meanwhile, Shushu Suruga goes to check on the Himari and Yuuki, and Kyouka Uzen has Nei Ookawamura scan Mato, but she finds nothing unusual.
Inside the dorm, Himari thanks Yuuki for helping her defeat her sister as she gives him his Slave reward. She confirms that she is expressing this gratitude of her own free will. Himari then kisses Yuuki and gently bites his lower lip, once more expressing her disdain at how indecent the reward is. Himari continues to kiss him while Yuuki is surprised by how soft her lips feel. Yuuki asks if Himari is sure about not returning to her family, and she replies that she is and will stay with Kyouka. After licking Yuuki's lips, Himari apologizes for giving him so much trouble before and admits that boys are very capable. With that, the two share an awkward moment as Himari assures him that the kissing is only part of the reward.
Unbeknownst to Himari and Yuuki, Shushu has been listening in on them and discovers the nature of the Slave reward, contemplating on how unfair it is.
Later, with the entirety of the 6th and 7th Units gathered, Ginna Bizen announces the start of the second match of the Mato Exhibition Games, which will be between Shushu and Sahara Wakasa. Before entering the ring, Shushu turns to Yuuki and says she will do her best. She then approaches him and whispers that she will have him give her appreciation to match her efforts, much to his confusion.
As the match begins, Shushu proposes that, since both of their abilities use their bodies as weapons, they start by not using their abilities, which Sahara agrees to. Sahara starts with a kick, but Shushu grabs her leg and forces her to the ground. Shushu attempts an elbow drop, but Sahara rolls out of the way and grabs her from behind. Sahara then throws her to the ground with a German suplex. Shushu gets back up, but Sahara says she is tired and will use her ability. Shushu is surprised, but with that being the case, she will use hers as well. Tenka and Yachiho wonder "how many" Sahara will use, with Yachiho estimating one and Tenka three. Kyouka observes that, since both Shushu and Sahara use strength-based combat, the match will not last long. Shushu activates her Paradigm Shift shift, while Sahara activates her ability Crazy Sheep and calls out the number three.
