Yachiho and Himari (八千穂と日万凛, Yachiho to Himari) is fifteenth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
As Himari Azuma and Yuuki Wakura lie badly beaten before Yachiho Azuma, Shushu Suruga and Nei Ookawamura cheer from the sidelines while Kyouka Uzen watches. Yachiho observes that Himari's Learning cannot switch to another ability since Slave requires a reward to be paid and, thus, Himari has no way of fighting back. Yachiho derides Himari, claiming that she never succeeded where it really mattered and that she should give up. Tearfully, Himari considers giving in, but Yuuki and tells her not to, pointing out that Yachiho appears to be tired and likely cannot use Golden Hour again. His words restore Himari's confidence and the two get back up, ready to fight. Even so, Yachiho remains assertive and claims she can use Golden Hour one more time. Himari declares that she will keep going till the very end and she and Yuuki charge at Yachiho.
As Yachiho strike a pose to activate Golden Hour, Yuuki suddenly undoes his transformation in front of her, creating a smokescreen. As Golden Hour activates, Yachiho raises her gun, ready to fire, but only sees Yuuki in front of her. She looks around and fires her gun desperately, but Himari is still nowhere to be found. Once the five seconds are up, Yachiho is immediately grazed with a shot to the neck and finds Himari positioned right beneath her. Yachiho falls to the ground, incredulous at Himari's defiance. Himari rises to her feet and Ginna Bizen declares her the victor.
Kyouka is impressed by Himari and Yuuki's performance, seeing that they used the smoke and light from Yuuki's transformation as a distraction. Sahara Wakasa is disappointed by her Unit's loss, but Tenka Izumo tells her that they will take it as a lesson. Ginna goes to Himari, Yuuki, and Yachiho and quickly heals them of their injuries. As Himari and Yuuki are about to leave for the dorm, Yachiho stops them. She admits that Himari has gotten stronger and states she will treat her kindly from now on, hoping she will come back to the Azuma Estate. However, Himari says her home is the 7th Unit and she will never return to the Azumas. Yachiho is crushed by her refusal.
Inside the dorm, Yuuki and Himari go to the kitchen for refreshments, but Himari suddenly grabs Yuuki and kisses him as the Slave reward commences.
