The Final Move is the one-hundred-and-forty-seventh chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
At the election meeting, Mira gives Tenka the chance to speak after interrupting her, but Tenka says there is no longer any need after Mira's announcement. Kyouka then states that, although she thinks it best to battle the Thunder Gods, she is devising a plan to avoid needless casualties.
Afterwards, Kyouka thanks Mira for her support. Mira confesses that, while Yuuki's revelation was the main contributing factor, she was also impressed by Kyouka's battle with Ren. Kyouka then asks Mira how she is doing in gathering support and Mira admits that, while she has been talking with Fubuki, she has not gained a definitive endorsement. Mira then tells Kyouka something about Konomi that may give her an advantage as she plans to talk with her next.
Meanwhile, Yakumo examines Yuuki, but does not get the sense he is hosting the Thunder Gods. Yakumo concedes that if Yuuki can use the Gods for good then it should be beneficial. She tells Yuuki to be himself, leaving Yuuki impressed by her kind words. Yuuki then reminisces about how many of the Chiefs have given him their support after his confession about the Gods. Abruptly, Yakumo offers her to vote for Kyouka, implicitly in exchange sexual favors as she flaunts her breasts at Yuuki, but he refuses as Kyouka told him not to accept such negotiations.
In the changing room, Ren reminds Fubuki of her intention to become prime minister as the two disrobe. Ren implicitly offers the Commander position to one of Fubuki's daughters once she assumes her new role. Fubuki wonders if Ren is worried about the Azuma's gaining too much power, but Ren assures her it is of no concern to her. Fubuki then offers for the them to wash each other's backs so they may discuss the matter.
Elsewhere, Kyouka chastises Yuuki for bringing up the Thunder Gods, which he apologizes for. Nevertheless, Kyouka wonders if she has been unreliable, which Yuuki denies. She removes her hair ornament and wonders how she can reward Yuuki, even though she has not used her Slave ability. Yuuki tries to reassure her that his Slave rewards are enough, but Kyouka abruptly kisses him passionately. Once she is done, Kyouka says her body moved by reflex, but asks if Yuuki has time afterwards, to which Yuuki replies they must focus on the election. Kyouka infers that Yuuki has refused help from the other Chiefs, which Yuuki admits, claiming he must deal with the Gods on his own. The two then head to bed.
With the one day left till voting, the Chiefs have various meetings to discuss the election. Meeting with Tenka and Varvara, Kyouka tells them she has met with the swing voters (although so has Ren). Kyouka says she will proceed with one last task. Tenka asks who she will be meeting with and Kyouka's response surprises both her and Varvara.
The day of the election arrives.
