Chapter 143

Mercy is the one-hundred-and-forty-third chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.

Summary[]

As Kyouka and Yuuki prepare to face off against Ren, Kuusetsu, Fukuma, and Rairen observe the events from Yuuki's spirit world. They acknowledge that the Anti-Demon Corps will fall for Shikoku's ruse if Ren stays in charge, and they wonder what Shikoku's plan is. Rairen suspects that Jaku'un's curse power has grown and that Taikyoku will deliver many divine punishments upon the humans. Fukuma remarks that Yuuki and Kyouka have a bad match-up considering what happened the previous night.

A flashback to previous night shows Fukuma, in the guise of Ren, restrained on a bed with Yuuki observing. Kuusetsu says that it will help Yuuki in his goal to defeat Ren in the election, but Yuuki believes they're just doing it for fun and refuses to go along with it. However, Kuusetsu takes control of Yuuki's body, forcing him to grope and kiss Fukuma. Kuusetsu then joins in and starts kissing Yuuki, but Yuuki manages to break free of Kuusetsu's control, pushing her and Fukuma away. However, Kuusetsu and Fukuma expose their breasts to him in an attempt to arouse him, but Yuuki still rebuffs their advances, stating that Ren's "pressure" is very different from theirs.

Back in the present, Fukuma says that Yuuki spoke like a wimp and Rairen adds that Yuuki was being pathetic, but Kuusetsu observes that Yuuki's spirit world has grown, possibly as a result of their presence. She wonders if he has gotten more blessings than they thought. She also believes that Yuuki may be the key to the battle against Ren.
