Unexpected Concern is the one-hundred-and-thirty-second chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Himari and Yuuki are recalled to the Azuma residence, where both Fubuki and Tobera thank Yuuki for protecting Himari while simultaneously congratulating Himari and affectionately poking her cheeks. Tobera then invites them both to training in the sub dimension.
Upon arrival, they see Homare sprinting across the island and Yachiho meditating in order to increase the number of times she can use her ability. Himari, seeing this, decides to meditate along side her sister, much to Yachiho's joy. Seeing this level of dedication, Tobera jokes that at this rate, half of the Mato Defense Force chiefs will be made of members of Azuma Family.
The conversation then turns to the delinquent of the group, Maia, and Tobera and Fubuki takes turns berating her for her video game addiction. Yuuki wonders whether or not he should be hearing this kind of conversation, with Tobera saying that it is fine and they need his help with this matter anyway. Fubuki then asks Maia if she actually has any aspirations. Maia replies that she is fine with being a vice-chief, with her remarking that with her personality, she won't be any good as a real chief. Fubuki then replies that she is by all accounts a good vice-chief, however, she also states that if she were get on the same battlefield as her and Tobera, then everyone around her would need to protect her. Maia takes personal insult to the accusation, mainly because her ability is related to her protecting everyone else, and she demands the chance to prove herself, which is exactly what Tobera was waiting for.
Tobera and Fubuki drag Yuuki to the other side of the island and tie him to a tree, with Tobera saying that his only job is to play a powerless hostage. Fubuki follows up, saying that she will reward him once this is all over, which immediately gives Yuuki some erotic delusions, to which he tries to refuse and is almost punched in the face by Tobera. Fubuki calms them both down before she and Tobera leave, forcing Yuuki to wait for Maia.
Maia eventually shows up and sneaks up behind Yuuki and frees him. However, the moment she does, crab-like monsters come out of the sea and begin attacking. To avoid them, Maia creates a giant hand and then levitates the hand with them on it, out of reach of the monsters' attacks. However, they are immediately attacked by a bird-like monster from the sky. Maia then tells Yuuki to hold onto her as they fly away from the bird.
