Confession is the one-hundred-and-thirtieth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Inside Pantheon, Varvara observes that there is no trace of the unique Shuuki that Yuuki destroyed, which impresses her and pleases Yuuki. Varvara notes that Yuuki's Komainu form looks like it is serving the statue of Kyouka, which also pleases him. Suddenly, Yuuki's transformation is undone, even though he is not tired.
Inside Yuuki's spirit world, Rairen sits on Kuusetsu´s head while drinking. Meanwhile, Fukuma wonders if Yuuki is not tired because of the blessings the Thunder Gods have bestowed on him, but Kuusetsu thinks it may just be a perk of the Slave form. Bitterly, Fukuma remarks that Varvara is just as abnormal as Yuuki's Slave form.
Back in Pantheon, Varvara tells Yuuki to strip down to his underwear as the reward has begun. Yuuki complies and Varvara sits on his chest, demanding that he confess his sins. Yuuki is momentarily bewildered, but then confesses that, during his battle with Rairen, he got frustrated at his powerlessness and wished he had the power of a Peach, even knowing that he should be grateful that he has the power of Slave. Angrily, Varvara steps on Yuuki's chest and berates him. Afterwards, she removes her foot, stating she has crushed his weak heart. Varvara then begins to disrobe as well, stating it is her turn. Yuuki is confused and Varvara explains that, by confessing to each other, they form a stronger bond. Varvara strips down to her underwear and bares her chest to Yuuki.
Varvara then tells Yuuki about her mother, the leader of a criminal organization, who was later apprehended by Ren Yamashiro. When Varvara visited her mother during her imprisonment, she told her that she had joined the Anti-Demon Corps and noted how frail her mother had become, but held no pity for her. Varvara confesses her regret for treating her mother so coldly, even though her mother had treated her with kindness, and believes the Kyouka, had she been in her position, would have treated her mother kindly.
Varvara then asks Yuuki to expel this "weakness" from her, demanding that he not hold back. Yuuki is initially reluctant as he does not wish to harm her, but finds a compromise by spanking her on the buttocks. Yuuki realizes it will not harm her too much this way as he recalls another incident in which Tobera spanked Himari while training her to use Transience. Varvara chides Yuuki for slapping her butt, but Yuuki points out that Varvara is now stronger now that he has expelled her weakness. Pleased, Varvara embraces Yuuki, telling him that he has eased her conscience, and two agree to continue serving Kyouka. The two kiss before the Kyouka statue.
