Residence of the Gods is the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
As Kyouka and Bell continue to give Yuuki his reward, Yuuki notices that Bell's scars have vanished, which Kyouka explains is due to her Canopus' healing ability. As the reward continues, Bell explains she has now gotten a feel for how great her Canopus is since it effectively won't allow her to die and that her near-death experience has given her a confidence boost. Yuuki kisses and licks Bell's body, during which Kyouka notices that Yuuki's wounds have begun to heal as well. Kyouka wonders if it is due to all the "lending", but Yuuki wonders if there is another reason.
Later, having fallen asleep from fatigue, Yuuki finds himself in his spirit world and sees a katana in the ground before him. He is then met by Kuusetsu who abruptly attacks by launching a feather dagger at him. Yuuki dodges and Kuusetsu explains that she has learned to move freely in his world and now wishes to take over his soul. Yuuki grabs the katana and defends himself from Kuusetsu's oncoming attack. Yuuki demands an explanation from Kuusetsu and reasons to himself that, since it is his world, he should be able to make himself as strong as he wants.
Suddenly, Kuusetsu ceases her attack and two small clones of Fukuma appear, telling him that he has passed and that he was pranked. Yuuki demands to know what's going on, but Kuusetsu ignores him and asks the miniaturizes Rairen, who appears from the top of Yuuki's head, what he thinks of him. Rairen begrudgingly admits that Yuuki just barely qualifies as a vessel he can inhabit. Rairen then tells Fukuma to undo her transformation and the katana in Yuuki's hands begins to morph out of his grasp, revealing it was Fukuma all along. Kuusetsu proclaims the arrival of the new gods within Yuuki, but Yuuki is upset, wondering why they are now within him. Yuuki asks if their presence is why his body has been in good shape recently, and Kuusetsu confirms that it is about what she would expect. Kuusetsu also reassures him that they can still do nothing to affect the outside world. Rairen defiantly declares that Yuuki must treat him with respect, with Kuusetsu commenting that it took him a while to agree to the arrangement.
Yuuki contemplates that he still cannot forgive Fukuma for what she did to Bell and, apparently sensing his hostility, Kuusetsu throws herself at Yuuki and tells Fukuma to get her revenge by seducing Yuuki. Begrudgingly, Fukuma joins in as Kuusetsu begins to caress Yuuki. Yuuki attempts to ask Fukuma for information about the Thunder Gods, but Fukuma instantly refuses. Disappointed, Yuuki tries to reassure himself that having the gods inside him could lead to a power-up. Yuuki then takes Fukuma by the hand and says he hopes that can get along, which Fukuma reluctantly agrees to. As Kuusetsu kisses Yuuki, he reaffirms to himself that he will turn the Thunder Gods into his strength.
