Little Ones (小さき者, Chīsaki Mono) is the one-hundred-and-twenty-fourth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
The transformed Rairen conjures a series of lightning bolts that come down on Kyouka and Yuuki, but they manage to avoid them. Rairen then invokes "Divine Punishment" by attacking Yuuki with his tentacles, one of which Yuuki manages to bite before he is knocked down.
Rairen then attacks Kyouka and she is able to deflect most of his attacks with her sword, though she does take some damage. Rairen shoots a column of fire from his mouth, but Kyouka leaps into the air, preparing to strike with her sword. However, Rairen shoots laser beams from his eyes, hitting Kyouka dead-on and knocking her down. As he mocks Kyouka, Rairen prepares to crush her with his massive hand, but Kyouka avoids taking a fatal blow, while also cutting off two of his fingers. However, Rairen is unfazed as he quickly regenerates his two lost fingers. Impressed by Kyouka's determination despite her injuries, Rairen uses his "Great Fire-Thunder Sphere" technique, creating a gigantic ball of fire and lightning that will incinerate Kyouka on impact. However, before Rairen can launch his attack, Bell, now riding atop Yuuki, steals Rairen's life essence. Kyouka is elated by Bell's return.
A flashback reveals that Varvara freed Bell from the card she was imprisoned in by. Having healed her mortal wounds with her Canopus's "Protect" mode, Bell promptly departed to assist Kyouka. She then encountered Nei who updated her on the 7th Unit's situation, after which Bell rushed to their aid and made the killing strike against Rairen.
The defeated Rairen begins to crumble apart, utterly flabbergasted that he has been destroyed. Bell admonishes him, telling him he was "too great for his own good" and did not pay attention to the smaller presences around him. Rairen falls apart and crumbles into dust.
Inside Yuuki's spirit world, Kuusetsu observes that a small piece of Rairen transferred into Yuuki, when the latter bit the former's finger. However, since the fragment was so small, Rairen has been reduced to a doll-sized form perched on Fukuma's shoulder.
