Howling Slave (咆哮のスレイブ, Hōkō no Sureibu) is the one-hundred-and-twenty-third chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Kyouka continues to charge her attack, believing it still isn't powered up enough to defeat Rairen. As an unimpressed Rairen watches Kyouka, Shushu tries to bait him into taking Kyouka's attack, but Rairen prepares to attack Shushu instead. However, before he can strike, Himari uses Night Storm to launch Rairen high into the air. Completely exhausted, Himari changes back from her powered up form and collapses, but Shushu catches her and places her on the ground.
Rairen recovers from the Night Storm attack and sees that Shushu is now guarding Kyouka. Spitefully, Rairen shoots a giant fireball from his mouth, intending to incinerate them both. However, Shushu manages to catch the fireball and divert its path away from Kyouka. Having taken considerable damage from the fireball, Shushu shrinks back to normal size and falls unconscious.
Kyouka, incredibly proud of Himari and Shushu's efforts, finishes charging and fires Yuuki at Rairen with her Slave-Edge Sword attack. Yuuki connects directly with Rairen who is able to block him with an energy shield. However, having seen how hard Himari and Shushu fought, Yuuki refuses to relent and overpowers Rairen through sheer willpower, breaking his body apart. Utterly astounded, Rairen can hardly believe he must now show his "true form". To Kyouka and Yuuk's shock, Rairen's remains begin to shine brightly.
Inside Yuuki's spirit world, Kuusetsu and Fukuma watch the bright glow from a pool as they realize Rairen is using his full power form.
In Shangri-La, Rairen completely transforms into his gigantic, monstrous true form, intent on destroying the 7th Unit.
