The Seventh's Willpower (七番組の意地, Nana Bangumi no Iji) is the one-hundred-and-twenty-second chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
With Rairen having endured Yuuki's "Great Cross Edge" attack, the 7th Unit attacks him more vehemently, but he still brushes them aside and remains unscathed.
Inside Yuuki's spirit world, Kuusetsu finishes updating Fukuma about the ongoing battle. Fukuma is assured that Rairen will win and, consequently, Yuuki's world will disappear along with him, but Kuusetsu reminds her that things don't always go as they think they will, considering both she and Fukuma lost their respective battles.
Back in Shangri-La, Rairen calls out to Fukuma to bring her "prey" to him as he is getting bored with the 7th Unit. Meanwhile, as Himari uses Transience to heal the other 7th Unit members, Kyouka declares that she believes they can beat Rairen with her "Slave-Edge Sword" at maximum power output.
As Rairen notices that Fukuma has gone silent, Yuuki powers up to his Skyward form and Kyouka prepares the "Slave-Edge Sword" attack. Noticing them, Rairen shoots a fireball at them, but Yuuki dodges and delivers an uppercut to Rairen, knocking him back. The gigantified Shushu, with Himari atop her head, uses her Paradigm Shift Three Minute Strengthening Mode as she prepares to engage Rairen to buy Kyouka enough time to power up her attack.
Rairen unleashes a devastating onslaught, breaking Shushu's leg and then striking her in the waist. However, Shushu quickly recovers and strikes Rairen with a downward smack. Rairen notices that Shushu's leg and waist have healed, a result of Himari using Full Power Transience on her, aided by the abundance of flowers in Shangri-La. Rairen then calls down a bolt of lightning, but Himari uses Ame-no-Mitori to transport Shushu away to avoid a fatal strike.
Meanwhile, with Yuuki inside her sword, Kyouka continues to charge up her power, knowing she will need an abundant amount.
Rairen leaps in the air and aims for Himari, realizing she is the problematic one, but Shushu raises her arms to block him. Consequently, Rairen delivers a powerful strike to Shushu's abdomen, but Himari quickly heals her again. Knowing she has to keep Rairen's attacks focused on her, Shushu taunts Rairen and he unleashes a wave of fire on her, which Himari blow away with Night Storm. Rairen then fires a tremendous ball of lightning at Shushu, which fatally wounds her, but Himari uses Golden Hour to rewind time and tell Shushu to dodge. Shushu still takes some damage from the attack, but is invigorated as she thinks of Yuuki.
Curious as to why Shushu's will isn't breaking, Rairen looks around and sees that Kyouka is charging up an attack, realizing that that is the "hope" Shushu is relying on.
