Bell's Willpower (ベルの意地, Beru no Iji) is the one-hundred-and-fifth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Yuuki Wakura request Kyouka Uzen to adjust the intensity of Bell Tsukiyono's training to make it more manageable for her. Kyouka chastises herself, believing she had already made it lighter enough, and agrees to the request. Bell thanks her and Yuuki says he will adjust his schedule so he can train with her. Bell continues her training with the 7th Unit and is met with great results.
Later, Yuuki speaks with Ren Yamashiro who is pleased to her that Bell is succeeding in her training. Ren comments that progress on "Shangri-la" has also gone well, which confuses Yuuki and Ren tells him to ask Kyouka to inform him. The conversation ends with Ren telling Yuuki to pick up her calls faster.
Later, while eating in the dining area, Kyouka confirms with Bell that the other members of the 3rd Unit are set to be released after recovering from their injuries. Bell worries that her reputation has been tarnished, but is confident that she will do her best.
Suddenly, the room to starts to shake and the three rush outside to find a giant Shuuki attacking them. The Shuuki resembles one of the Devotees that attacked the 3rd Unit and Kyouka theorizes it may have absorbed the Devotee's body. Kyouka activates Yuuki's Slave form and they prepare to attack, but Bell asks to be the one to defeat it, which Kyouka agrees to. Bell grabs Yuuki's chain and he transforms into the Slave: Hidden Moon form. To Bell and Yuuki's surprise, this new form allows them both to turn invisible. Kyouka rushes and attacks the Shuuki with her sword, but finds it does minimal damage due to its tough carapace. However, a life orb suddenly emerges from the Shuuki's chest. Bell and Yuuki turn visible once more and the Shuuki crumbles to dust. Kyouka congratulates and elated Bell.
Afterwards, Yuuki remarks that turning invisible takes a lot of energy, while Kyouka observes that she could still feel his presence even while invisible. Kyouka then informs Bell that must give Yuuki his reward and agrees to keep watch. Bell faces Yuuki and says she will be in his care.
