A New Power (新しい力, Atarashī Chikara) is the tenth chapter of the Mato Seihei no Slave manga.
Summary[]
Himari Azuma deeply enjoys a ramen dish Yuuki Wakura has prepared for her and she declares that he has skills fit for him to be her slave. Annoyed, Yuuki asks why he has to be Himari's slave and she replies that she must win the upcoming Mato Exhibition Games. Unfamiliar with them, Yuuki asks what they are and Himari explains that they are matches between Anti-Demon Corps Units and, although this one will be a friendly match, they have been used in the past to settle disputes and can cover any number of events. Kyouka Uzen enters and informs them that this match will be simple one-on-one bouts where the contestants battle with their Peach abilities. Knowing that Himari is upset with her sister, Yachiho Azuma, Kyouka tells her give it her all and defeat her, which fires Himari up. Kyouka then orders Himari to go out on patrol with Yuuki.
While on patrol, Yuuki reminds Himari she still hasn't told him why she wants him as a slave and Himari explains that changing her body parts into a weapons is not her actual ability. She then shows him her phone, which has a display of Kyouka's battle stats, as if it were a game card. Himari then informs Yuuki that her real ability is Learning which enables her to use other people's abilities. Yuuki is impressed by her ability and Himari clarifies that she can use the ability of any person she logs into her phone.
Suddenly, a swarm of Shuuki appear before them and, after Himari runs them over with the jeep, she holds out her hand and orders Yuuki to become her slave. However, Yuuki hesitates as he wants to be sure that Himari knows all the conditions of the Slave ability. Himari gives a quick synopsis of the ability, but Yuuki warns her about the reward aspect, though Himari says she is willing to put her body on the line. Himari desperately wishes to defeat her sister, but, internally, she only believes she will have to do chores for Yuuki. More Shuuki appear and, despite Yuuki's objections, Himari orders him to transform and he complies.
Yuuki transforms into a new version of his Slave form, the Slave: Whirlwind. Yuuki is overcome by the sensation of his new form and as the Shuuki attack he dodges them and finds he can move incredibly fast. When fighting back, however, he finds that this strength has diminished. To make up for this, he continuously pummels the Shuuki until they are all defeated. Himari is greatly impressed by Yuuki's display and believes she can use it to defeat Yachiho.
As Yuuki changes back to his human form, Himari praises him, but he wonders why she chose this ability over all others. Himari hesitates, but replies that having more combat experience is good for him. Then, suddenly, she lifts her skirt to show Yuuki her panties. Shocked and humiliated, Himari screams at Yuuki for an explanation and he replies that this is the reward she must pay for the Slave ability. Realizing now what Kyouka meant by putting her body on the line, Himari finds she cannot move her body, meaning that the reward isn't yet over. She cries out in humiliation as the reward continues
